One of the things I found so interesting about this book how a seemingly everyday person ending being the catalyst for the rebuilding of a part of God’s kingdom and ultimately became the governor of it. It shows to me how much God truly has a plan for all of us. God bless y’all today and remember to thank him for his goodness and grace.

Nehemiah was the cup bearer to the King. God put him there because Nehemiah needed the favor of the king to accomplish what needed to be done. Once again, God's plan is never waivered.

Nehemiah PRAYED when he was devastated by the bad news of the wall. God listened. God hears our prayers. Sometimes, we simply need to ask, and He will provide. Nehemiah prays in 1:6 NIV "...let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night for your servants, the people of Israel. I confess the sins we Israelites, including myself and my father’s family, have committed against you." God, help me to pray often and sincerely. Help me remember to repent for my sins and have a heart truely devoted to Your Will. You work miracles and You work in the mundane. Thank you, Lord. You are always working for Glory!
