Top rated documented journey showing El Camino De Santiago-Frances.
In this video I hike up to The top of the beautiful Cruz De Ferro. Before I left home, I asked my friend who had lost her precious baby girl, while still pregnant, if there was anything that I could take to memorialize her. She gave me ribbons from her crib. I wrapped a piece of quartz in the shape of a heart and placed it on top of the hill. Along with a stone I brought from Alaska, that I had given my friend Kara, who gave it back to me. At Cruz De Ferro, you leave the stone, which represents leaving your burdens behind. We could all use that.
It was a perfect and emotional and meaningful day. My heart is full and I count my blessing for this experience and for my health.
Here's to healing from loss and pain, and for all of us, dropping our burdens that we so often choose to carry.
Thanks for the love, Alaskan Pilgrim - Jeanee

Ohh my goodness this touched me deeply. To all who have lost their babies a token day of love to let that burden go. Bless little Kinley and all the pilgrims, including you.

Alakan. Es precioso y muy profesional pero tiene un aire muy triste y melancolico...he llorado alguna vez con la guitarra

I don't know what I expected the day you were explaining the meaning to us before you left of this journey, But I have to tell you, the tears were flowing after watching this. Thank you for including us in this day. It was beyond what I thought I would feel. Jeanne you truly are a blessing to so many. My heart is over flowing with so much love for my mom and how much I miss her. This has to be one of the most beautiful spots on earth to have a memorial for all. To remember so many Thank you again for placing the painted rock for all of us. God Bless you

How beautiful. I believe firmly that our memories and remembrances of loved ones who departed before us, calls them to us. You are so thoughtful and giving Jeanee. We are all so blessed by you. I still have my rock that you brought me in the hospital. I treasure it. As I typed this comment, I felt my own burdens lift away and make room for more energy, more breathing, more life! Thank you seems so lame, but it's all I have...thank you!!

a perfect day indeed. I shed tears for Kenley and her little family. You offered such a beautiful tribute. I transcended my worry burdens into that beautiful painted rock as my own little family has evacuated from Hurricane Michael. Travel safe and well. #HappyFeet

Thanks for a beautiful video Jeanee. I sent my thoughts with you to the cross today - on behalf of a friend who is experiencing the heartbreak of losing a child, and another friend who wanted to walk the Camino but never got the chance. He passed away the day you began your journey. Sending love and strength to you Jeanee.

I don't know just what i expected when you said there is a cross with rocks. This picture ( I google earth it ) is now on my computer for the screen saver! This is so moving I still have tears coming just typing this. Is it okay if i share this with one of my friends that I worked with? You are AMAZING. Today I had a Dr. appointment, I seen a picture in the hallway to the room I was going to. It was a picture of a white topped mountain range but what made it POP for me was about 1/3 of the lower right side you was see a old abandon rock walls of a home. Now you are see a rock wall with a rock window and to lower elevation of the mountain with lines of the snow with a tree. I asked the Dr. where this was taken and he had been in Spain just last year and took the picture himself. About that time the nurse came in and it was time to have the injection in the neck. So will ask question sooner next time. Well better grab a bite and get ready for ZZZ time. REST & SLEEP WELL!

You have an artist's eye for images and the energy to film these. In this section you're walking over slate, which makes treacherous footing. Trekking poles give a person an instant handrail. Hope you do a review of gear/clothing that worked and didn't work. Also, while you walk what do you think?

Have you ever heard of Injinji liner socks; they have toes like gloves have fingers and help long distance hikers prevent blisters and help swelling. Just a thought for your poor feet!
