Great words about just knitting what you love. I am bed bound after several brain tumour injuries and have accepted that I like knitting socks, cowls, and blankets. The snow you have looks wonderful. I am a Methodist and am loving this Advent more than any other, in my whole 63 years. 🙏🕊

Great vlogmas Anna, love the area in which you live. Very pretty and calming with the snow. I live in Fargo ND. And we usually have snow by now but it's late this year. Have had a few snow flurries but that's it. I also enjoy "simple knitting." I think it's because I get results faster. Thanks again for your pod cast.

Anna, thank you for your wonderful vlogmas and sharing adventures. I love your blog, it quiets my mind. As to the fringe on your coasters, after you complete the fringe, try using a sewing machine with a zig zag stitch in a close color thread. It can help to have a piece of light weight paper under the coaster which you can tear away after sewing. Even a straight stitch might prove helpful. Perhaps try both, then wash. If you can find washaway stabilizer that looks woven for under the coaster, even better. It’s used in machine embroidery. All the little bits will disappear in the wash after tearing or cutting away most of the washaway. One additional tip, you might need to raise your presser foot pressure a little. This will raise the height of the foot to handle the thicker fabric better. If the coaster fabric drags under the foot, you will need to do this. Hope it helps!

Anna, you’ve made some beautiful videos! Yes, your first pronunciation of wreath is correct. ☺️ I’ve been a simple knitter for 12 years now and I’m completely content with that too. I do enjoy making sweaters, yet I haven’t made more than 6 of them. Your outward Christianity is wonderful. Very glad I’ve found you. Thank you for sharing. 🧶🙏 (watching from the USA)

I enjoyed the Left Behind books as well. I also liked what Michelle said about not being a sweater knitter. I’m trying to make them but not sure it’s what I’m going to do a lot of.

I am so looking forward to seeing you work on the Christmas blanket - I agree that you need one! Such beautiful yarn. The snow is so beautiful. We usually get one snow a year that only lasts a day or two - sometimes only a few hours! How short are your days (daylight time)?

He! We should knit what we love! Every time some new trend comes along I have to ask myself if I’ll actually use that thing. If I won’t and don’t know anyone who will, I pass! That cake looks delicious!
