I love log homes...but highly concerned regarding deforestation...! Is there an alternative ?!?..

We use mostly dead standing trees. So actually we help to clean up forests so it decreases the risk of forest fires.

Some of the best conservationists in the world are logging companies.. many have tracts of land that they rotate harvesting trees from. This summer it is clear cut, by fall or the next spring it is replanted with fast growing trees that are maintained over the years while they move on to other pieces of land. It is a renewable resource that not many think of.
