-1 is total no. of columns and -2 is total no. of rows

@@LM-44334 no the axis for row is 0 and column is 1 but when we do it in df.shape then the ans will be in tuple for eg it will come in (4,3) now if we say axis=-1 then usually what happens in series that it starts from backwards the same thing will happen here that is why -1 will be for column and -2 for row
