I’m in love with the Gretchen journal! Just when I think you can’t add any more to her, you come up with another lovely project. I looked at the Cathe Holden stamp set bc I love all of the signatures and numbers, and I don’t have an issue with cutting my stamps, but I’m still up in the air with this one. With brand new clear stamps, I rub them until they are no longer shiny and stamp off several times before stamping onto a project. I don’t usually clean any of my stamps, and I find they stamp better the more they are used. Until tomorrow… hugs from Ky, USA.

I love the final of your glassine envelope, but it killed me that you pulled everything off after getting it all positioned. I learned how to attach it without disturbing the positioning from 49 dragonflies. It was a game changer for me. I’ve got to get more stamps. It just adds so much to your ephemera.

I got some of the pinecone ink because of the video you went on about how well it stamps. I agree it takes awhile to dry but the color is so rich and beautiful. Its a lovely ink. I'm glad I got it. Love Gretchen. I want to make a fields note journal. I'm totally inspired.

I received my Cathe Holden stamp set today and took the plunge and cut apart the list of words and the smaller list of numbers. I used a very small sharp scissor and had no problem. They all stamp beautifully.

I ordered Tim holtz feild notes and entomology stamps today.the stamps come with sizzex bug dies!! Yeah..hope they work in my memory keepers die cutting machine. WHOOO HOOO....CANT WAIT. now just need ink..papers etc

If you can't take a picture with your phone, maybe it would be helpful to get a second bag, prepare the collage on there. And then you can get the labels one by one and glue them to the real bag. Or you could try glueing them from the front to the back.

Morning Margreth, I am in love!!!!!! Just love Gretchen, she is so cuddly and squishy, I just want to cuddle her. Loved the outlay of the little glassine bag. Wish we could get something like the Cathe Holden style stamp set ........... I HAVE looked HIGH AND LOW and NOTHING. Can't find any Timmy's stamps either. (insert sad face here .............) I have a couple of suggestions for you regarding inking on glassine, vellum, or any slick nonpourous surface. Try using Archival ink. The inks you are using now would dry much quicker if you used a heat tool as well. Some surfaces simply will not take the distress inks, or the ink will not dry. When I do a collage like this one (mine are not as good), I will take a picture of it once I have it arranged and then refer to the picture to glue it back down. Love the journal so much!
