Many Christians forget that broken people (all of us) are trying despite their brokenness. Failing continuously, but never giving up on themselves or on God. The real sin is to give up trying. This is why our lord commands us to judge not lest we be judged.

I lived a life of impurity in college. Years later after the Lord had forgiven me and showed me His mercy, I returned to the dorm room where I had my life of dissipation. There on the door was a poster of the DIVINE MERCY OF JESUS. I was absolutely stunned because this was a very liberal university and the last thing I expected was to see this. Psalm 89:1 says “I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever.” This will be me in heaven. I look forward to seeing all of you there one day because we will all sing of His mercy.

Day 300!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 What a milestone. I pray for all the people out there who like me took more than a year, 2 years even to get to this point. It took us longer to get here but we made it this far and it's still an achievement. Do not be ashamed. When was the last time you said to someone : "I read more than 2/3 of the Bible"!? Soon we will have read the entirety of the Holy book which I never did in my 43 years of existence. So even though I didn't read it daily ( and sometimes felt bad about it), I feel closer to the Lord and I rejoice in the fact that I know Him and His heart so much better now. May the Lord continue to encourage us in the next 65 days. 🙏🏾

As Fr. Mike always says its not the speed we have in going through the bible, but the determination to finish it at our own pace. Vacations, family duties, etc slow the pace of our journey but we march ahead. Glad to be on the journey with you all.

@@roknrone I did not have a computer for 3wks. When I got it back I had so much to catch up with that BIY & CIY was on the backburner. Then the tropical storms hit. Just go over Helene & Milton. We were spared major damage, but I do not know if I will ever get the debris and large limbs picked up. Since my brother died and his wife could not seem to stay away from the alcohol which caused her dementia to nosedive, Everyone had to relocate for now in TN near the son and hopefully be able to better control the drinking. It is a shame as their house is like a mansion. I live in the garage apartment. An enormous amount of work and responsibility has fallern on my shoulders and it is waring me down. I have been trying to get the Inspire Implant so that I can eliminate my new bi-pap which I cannot stand. I have passed all the hurdles which required 6 different doctor appointments except the sleep study. Hope to do that in the next few weeks. I miss being with everyone. I am about 4wks behind all of you. I have gone from 5ft 2in to 5ft 1in so now I need to lose 5# in order to have the correct BMI which is required for the implant. Hope all is well with you and everyone else. It was so good to hear from you.🥰🙏

I have sayings and prayers that I don't know where they come from if not from the Holy Spirit. "If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small," it says in Proverbs.
