I notice the strength and power in Jesus’ character as He’s facing conflict and death. He fulfills scripture by riding on the donkey, going straight into the city that will kill Him. He clears the temple, and He makes it crystal clear to the leading priests that they are rejecting the Kingdom. As we face events unfolding that God has planned, we can go boldly into them, not as a victim, but as followers of the triumphant Lamb.

The owner of the vineyard reminds of our gracious Heavenly Father. He is gracious in giving us mercy. The wages of sin is death. But, if we receive Jesus Christ as Savior, we are given the given eternal life. What an amazing God! The kingdom of the Lord is an upside down kingdom, where the first will be last, and the last will be first. Our lives should reflect servanthood. Lord, help my heart to serve others well. "Verbal ascent to the truth isn't enough. It has to come from a yielded heart." WOW. So true. Help us, Lord, to have yielded hearts that honor You. Let us bear the fruits of the Spirit that are spoken of in Galatians 5. In Jesus' name 🙏🏽.

Good morning family. I just want to say thank you to TLC for helping me read and actually understand the Bible. This has been one of my prayer requests for so long. There is no way I would have been able to be here today on day 305 on my own . It has not only been a blessing to me but for my life group, workplace and with friends and family. I say this because I can speak to them from biblical knowledge. It’s the most amazing way to start my day and everyday I feel so overwhelmed with joy to get to know and understand God.

My God shot is Matthew 20:28: “just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Out of Jesus’ own mouth, His own journey, plus ours, is given. Jesus died for my sins and how that is the ultimate act of servitude. May my life be the same in that I have a servant heart. Whatever the Father asks of me, may I say, “Not my will, but thine be done.”

Donkey's are one of few animals that have a cross on their back, but the donkey's cross is very distinctive. Jesus rode a donkey with a cross on it's back. Later, He will be carrying a cross on His own back. Thank you Jesus! 🙏❤

I wonder what the disciples thought about Jesus cursing the fig tree, especially those that wanted Jesus to be a conqueror of the Romans. How useful would it be to simply speaking your enemies destruction?

Whoa! The fig tree parable has more meaning than what was not on the tree. I thought the fig tree was an unbeliever and getting a chance to be fruitful, or salvation.

I'm somewhat confused!!! These scriptures are different than yesterdays readings. Today it says John and James mother approached Jesus about seating them in each side of Jesus. Also today it says they got a colt. Tomorrow Luke says a donkey and a colt... and He rode both??? Neither of these were addressed in todays podcast.

Why wasn't the contradiction between Mark & Matthew not addressed. I know the passage in Mark about James & John asking for places at his right & left hand in heaven was addressed yesterday, but why was it their mother asking in Matthew
