Can you imagine being John? this voice like a trumpet says "come up here" he sees rainbows, hears thunder,, flashes of lightening, lamps, creatures with multiple eyes, scrolls, harps, millions of angels struck up a song, then these horses started charging around the place, lots of people in white robes, a bit of tent building, and the promise of tears being wiped away, just as well as he had done quite a bit of weeping up there. What a trip, imagine trying to explain this encounter!

Grace be with you through Jesus Christ. Catholics do not match anything in the Bible. Ezekiel 13:2, It's a sin to call Mike "father". Matthew 23:8. Easter is not in the Bible, Passover is in the Bible. Christians honor Jesus resurrection and Passover and Feast of unleavened bread in the same week. Matthew 22:17.Exodus 12. Forced celibacy of priests and nuns, and forced poverty to give up their worldly possessions is not in the Bible. 1Timothy 3:2. Rosaries are forbidden. Matthew 6:7. You are supposed to use Anointing oil not Holy Water. James 5:14 and Exodus 40:9.

BIAY HIS WAY ( tribute to Fr Mike) And now the end is near, And so we face the final curtain My friends, I'll say it clear I'll state my case of which I'm certain We have read a lot of stuff, We travelled each and every highway But more, much more than this, we did it Mikes way. Regrets, oh no not us, We loved it all without exception, We did what we had to do And saw it through, from its conception We walked each chartered course Increased in faith along the byway, And more, much more than this, we did it his way. Yes there were times, I'm sure he knew When he bit off more than he could chew But through it all, those names and all, He sucked them up, and spat them out, He faced it all, and he stood tall, and threw them our way ! We've loved, and laughed and cried We've had our fill of all that fighting And now as tears subside I find it all so amusing To think he did all that And may I say not in a shy way, Oh no, oh no not you we did it his way. For who is this man, what has he got? If not his faith, then he has naught To say the things, he truly feels And for all of us, our heart he steals The record shows It's him we chose, And did it his way. Fr Mike you are the best, thank you for being that guiding influence this year, when you cast your crown before Him, I am sure He will say " well done thy good and faithful servant" can't wait to see you tomorrow.

December 25, 2023 Round Two Please, do you have just a moment in time to pray for Souls in Purgatory with me? According to tradition, St. Gertrude the Great, was told by Our Lord that each time she piously recited the following prayer, it would release 1,000 souls (or a vast number) from their suffering in purgatory: Eternal Father, I offer You the most precious blood of thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, for those in my own home, and in my family. Amen. In her account of another vision, St. Faustina describes Purgatory as a "great crowd of suffering souls" undergoing purification. Further, she says that the souls are "praying fervently, but to no avail, for themselves; only we can come to their aid" (Diary, 20)
