15:00 this is where Chaganti garu comes across as narrow minded. As much as I admire him for his vast knowledge in Hindu scriptures, he lacks more practical experience. He’s saying that women should blindly marry whomever their parents choose and not spouses of their own choice. According to his logic then, Rukmini should have married that idiot Sisupala whom her parents and brother chose not the Lord Sri Krishna whom she chose. Subhadra should have married Duryodhana and not Arjuna. We see a lot of idiots in our day to day life. These idiots marry, beget children and remain idiots. They don’t change. They become idiotic parents. They make idiotic decisions. They intentionally out of sadism make their sons and daughters marry idiotic spouses even though they are liking someone more capable and kind hearted. This is where Chaganti garu keeps making the mistake of arguing that daughters should blindly marry whomever their parents choose. Though I do agree that there are many good parents out there and they try their best to make the best choice for their children and yes there are also idiotic children who make stupid choices despite their parents advice. Yes both cases exist.
