Day 4 | Florida Vlogs Feb '23 | Cocoa Beach, Lunch at Millers & Universal Mardi Gras!

Hello Everyone! It's Tom and Paul! We're The Blokes From Stoke! Sharing our love of Disney, Universal, Theme Parks, Travel, Florida and Home.
Welcome to our Florida February 2023 Vlog series!
Our fourth day sees us head to the beach! Come and spend a morning with us at Cocoa beach. We'll have a walk along the sand and take you to the pier, then Paul takes in a light refreshment.... wait til you see how big it is!!!
We then head back towards the hotel and make a stop via Millers for lunch, but this is one of our less pleasurable experiences.. stay tuned to find out why.
After a quick room tour which we totally forgot to do in our previous vlogs, we then head in to Universal for some Mardi Gras mischief! We bump in to a couple of our lovely channel subscribers and that kind of distracts us from filming anything else... but hopefully you'll forgive us!

Cocoa beach is always a nice beach. Although we popped to Melbourne beach when we arrived and it was lovely. Shaved ice is amazing especially when it’s boiling. Did The Mummy for the first time yesterday and hated it! Tom got some pelters from Paul in this one!!! And Mardi Gras looked right up your street. Here’s to the next vlog of fun xx

Another great vlog. We feel like we r there with u! I howled at your “lost” memory card incident….. I too would have been in full scale panic mode 😂. I would have been dumpster diving, calling the cops, the FBI etc etc 🤣. Luvd to see the beach. I went 30yrs ago & looks the same! Thanks for sharing with us…. Looking 4ward 2 the next instalment. ❤

Cheers Clare… Tom has a saying about my meltdowns… he calls it Zero to Nuclear … so you can well imagine! We loved a change of scenery and a nice calming morning after the stress!! Thank you for being with us and hope you have fun on the lake next week!

Tom you are a saint !! We have only done the beaches at St Petersburg Gulf of Mexico but it looked great where you were, personally we see Paul as a Blackpool beach guy, serious though wonderfully funny vlog, we are on the Disney Wish 5 weeks today keep safe Andy and vonnie

Just below coco beach is satellite beach where I've been fishing from the beach for lunch, it was a good job we was with locals because the majority that we all was catching was sharks from 2ft to 4ft, yes I shit it, really strong they are and we put them back, no lunch. I wish I could off seen nuclear paul, couldn't stop smiling when Tom's smirking. I'm so glad you didn't tip, we won't tip even if they get annoyed we tell them straight what was up

Just a heads up. You should always leave a tip minimum of 10 % even if service is bad. The staff are charged tax on a tip they didn't get. More and more restaurants are automatically adding the tip now to stop his happening.

Looks like you guys had heaps of fun 🙂 Since we're closer to the west coast, we're likely to go and visit Tarpon Springs again. The beach there is great and there's this quaint little place along the route that serves magnificent pizzas! The town itself is a lot of fun, too, with plenty of opporunities to have a drink or some food 🙂 And no, I'm not getting paid for this little promotional speech 🙂 We're going to have some strapping young lads to help us clear out the attic that possibly still has stuff up there left by the very first owners back in the 80's 😁Maybe I should start a YT channel, documenting my Florida visits 😆

Since Bill and I are both SAs, we do get to banter quite a bit, but all good fun. When we met in person for the first time in April of last year, we had this immediate 'click' that was already obvious during our 6 years long conversations on FB. I'll be in Florida from the middle of June until early September and already looking at early December until the end of February for the one after 🙂
