Could you not use Stazon permanent ink to stamp on those pesky shiny labels? I loved this idea when I watched Eva’s tutorial and put it on my never ending to make list. I love the idea of using maps but I do not have any maps of a size suitable, but I do have lots of magazines that needs a project. Thanks for sharing your twist on Eva’s project. ❤

I did the gelli printing---I'll be posting the video tomorrow. It was a hot mess, to be truthful. My diy stamps didn't work well on my diy gelli plate and my brayer made big rips in my gelli plate. I got a couple nice prints, LOL! This was a very cool project, I'm going to go make one now and no worries about how long the video is, it is as long as it needs to be, perfectly! Thanks for sharing! ♥

Ooooo, your “home made” stickers are super cool❤. I’ve made this fun project yesterday. Maybe today I use my old .. euhh atlas/maps 😁. I also dont like the shine from stickers…. So I sand them a little bit with very fine sanding paper😉

I watched Eva’s video yesterday. I was wondering if someone was going to give it a try. Your folio was also amazing. The new Unharted Mariner Distress Ink would have went beautifully also, it’s a rich dark blue, new from this last year’s release I believe FYI, I invested in a rotary cutter & I would highly recommend it. It is more expensive however you don’t need to change the blade as it is self sharpening. It can cut more too; cardboard & several pieces of paper or card stock

Neat fact for you. I grew up on Rt 66 in Missouri USA. There is a very cool old drive-in movie theater that I used to go to there. If you use the Rt 66 stuff that you showed, I would be happy to send you a post card and a few bits from the "mother road" to put in your folio. 😊

I do think this would be good for small die cut storage. I would glue a die cut punched out to the front of the pocket to know which metal die is in the pocket. Your pockets would almost decorate themselves 😂

You asked about Gelli printing. I’ve only recently tried it and didn’t know if I’d like it or if it would turn out but I LOVED it and now I’m excited to try it again. I watched several different KZbin videos and then just jumped in and tried it and will do it again. I’ve seen some using inks and alcohol inks too, so if you don’t want to get into the whole acrylic mess you might enjoy it with ink.
