Breast Cancer Journey of Healthy 33 Year Old

Жыл бұрын

Last night I woke up in the middle of the night to go #2 again but this time I was able to go back to sleep relatively quickly. Again, this is not normal for me so it’s definitely a side effect of the chemo.
Today was a low key day. I went to the dermatologist to have a mole looked at. It was totally benign - it was a seborrheic keratosis. I decided to go ahead & get it treated along with some other skin tags that I have.
I have experienced a touch of dry mouth & cheek sloughing but both of these are totally manageable and not painful. Other than that, I feel back to my ‘new normal’ self.
The passage for today reminds us that God is with us in our chaos and to lean into him during those times b/c he is always with us. 💕

Hi, are you still posting updates about your treatment? I found you when I was looking for info about mastectomies, and watched all of yours. My surgery was 2 weeks ago and .I’m keen to see the rest of your progress with chemo.

Yes I am still posting. I am behind on posting the videos but am working on it. How are you doing? Have you gotten your drains out?

@@breastcancerjourney.dr_colburt I got my Drains out last Friday, what a relief. I’m still in a bit of pain, it sometimes feels like someone is ironing my chest on the hot setting. It’s gradually reducing but still takes my breath away sometimes.

@@TheLiznz praise the Lord the drains are out!! Such a glorious feeling! That burning sensation is so weird but it does get better. I wish I could tell you that it completely goes away but just last night I had a random burning pain in one of my breasts. But I can tell you it does get better but mine hasn’t completely gone away & I’m not sure it will. It definitely doesn’t happen often which is a good thing lol. Are you doing reconstruction? I will definitely keep posting videos. 💕
