Day 76 - Fire at Kleinmond in South Africa

Today's daily update video from South Africa is on 31 March 2024. In this video, we start today's video with the fire at Kleinmond in South Africa today. A major fire broke out in the Kleinmond area of the Overstrand Municipality in South Africa. The incident was just one of many fires that have swept through the Western Cape region, leaving behind a trail of destruction and forcing residents to evacuate their homes while roads remain closed. The Kleinmond fire led to the mobilisation of Overstrand Municipality's Fire Services to carry out mop-up operations following their response to the fire in the Kleinmond mountains. The fire, which was almost completely under control the same day, demanded a tremendous amount of dedication and hard work from the firefighting teams.
