Of course it will take but the thing why we're using X,Y,Z are for our understanding and usually they prefer to use like this so that it is easy to understand which role it is.

Good video, its easy to understand, I have a question about master role and devived role. Is that possible to add a tcode just in India Derived role? Or every time I have to add the tcode in master role even USA Derived role user doesnt need the tcode?

Guess we can maintain derived role as well seperately bcoz if is added in master code wat if other country/bussiness unit does not need access

Yes we can add but if we add like that it leads to violating the derived role concept right,the main reason why we choose derived role is when job functionality is same all locations we go for this concept,but if we add any t code for the respective derived of particular country then no need of use derived role right.hope you understand

yes we can add tcode in derived role manually but its not a right practice. we add any other tcode in master role all manually entered tcode in derived or child role are overwritten. so never practice giving tcodes manually instead of that assign single role with require t codes

Hi Gajulapalli, For the question how to find Master role name of derived role ? We can find it by going to PFCG enter derived role under authorization tab derived from .It gives master role name .Correct ? Could you please help with ans for how to find no. of derived roles for a master role???? Thank you

I thought. In PFCG give Derived Role Name and click on display, there on Description tab Right Side we can see the Master Role of Derived Role👍
