I’d say this video is exactly the life of a 16 year old dropout. She literally admits to doing nothing all day. The highlights of her day were taking a shower and eating an avocado. Stay in school and maybe get a job that affords you more luxury than a bus ride and sushi. There’s never a reason to drop out of high school unless you’re being bullied or become a celebrity. At this age most kids (not just dropouts) aren’t seeing the big picture that everything you do in life is leading up to having a healthy home life and a secure retirement. Without a basic education you’re setting both of those back years, decades or a whole lifetime.

I live with my boyfriend and we are financially self sufficent. I do my own taxes and pay my own bills. You dont need to drop out of school to live this life people. Just because some can do it without education doesnt mean thats the best way to do it. A dipolma (hs at the very least) is a security measure to ensure yourself a guarenteed job at at least minimum wage. @@rosieeeflower0 some careers i totally agree that a diploma is unnecessary and that experience is more important, its all case by case, but in this new age as a new comer to the work force, its pretty competitive. Ive seen adult applicants for other positions at my office get turned down for not having a diploma or for things like not working at any company for longer than 2 years (shows unloyalty ig). At this point it feels more and more like a BA is the new HS dipolma. Doesnt matter what you got it for just as long as you have one it makes you a better applicant in eyes of an employer.

She obviously has a following on youtube and instagram, so she's already earning more then the average person, while also working whenever she wants to. So why would you ever work in a company where you get paid for like 30% of what you bring in earnings to them? Be brave and use your brain, society has been built up on abusing sheep. But if you plan to be a sheep and earn money for someone else while not having any freedom, at least have some common sense and stop hating on the people that are doing better.

As a former 16 year old drop out, (I’m now studying medicine at uni) don’t drop out. You grow wiser as you age and realise that education is very important. I had to do a foundation year just to get into uni at 20 years old, you can imagine how hard it was for me adjusting to Uni after being out of school for 4 years. And uni isn’t like high school, your grades rely on your own efforts to retain vast amounts of information. So to reiterate, don’t drop out. Enjoy high school and everything that comes with it because being on your own is so hard. I find myself missing being in high school sometimes as I never had to find a way to do a full day of uni, clean my house, do a food shop AND pick up my kids from kindy before 6pm. Please just get through high school and life will be that tiny bit easier. You got this!!!

In case anyone was wondering the scottish schooling system works as 7 years of primary school then 6 years of secondary, but in the 4th year (16) you are allowed to leave and go to college full time or do a job. If you decide to stay on you do highers then advanced highers. After that its college uni or job. I know this because i live in scotland and im 16, i believe in england its a bit different though, oh and education is free including uni and college

hi, english 16 year old here, can confirm it is different down here! in year 11 (15-16) you sit your GCSEs and from there you have 3 choices: • education until 18 (A levels, or possible GCSE retakes) - it is free and you would go to a sixth form/college to complete 3+ A levels typically • apprenticeship - typically level 3 • full time job you must take your A levels - typically - to get into university and we have to pay tuition sadly down here. luckily student debt isn’t that bad, you pay off a tiny bit of it every month if you meet a certain salary threshold and it gets wiped off 20 years after your degree anyway :) so jealous of the scots tbh! i want free uni 😭

She has her hs diploma, she dropped out of college. College isn’t required and in the UK, their college is not the same as college in the USA. They finish highschool at 15-16 y/o and college is from then until 18. So like junior and senior year of highschool for the USA is actually college years 1&2 in the UK. Then the would go on to University, if they choose to. Where as in the US, you complete hs at 18 (or a different age depending on when you started school) and then you can move on to a college or university.

As someone who's known someone that had to become emancipated and support themselves at 16, this is extremely glamorized. 💀 They were so busy juggling a job and finishing their GED, they didn't have time for dates or trips to the gym. Once their shift was done, they studied until the sun came up, slept for a few hours, rinse and repeat. It's not easy or humane tbh. Please don't look at this and assume you can just drop out of high school for any old reason.

To any other teenagers watching and thinking it’s easy, bare in mind she is a social media influencer the type that content will die down over time meaning her source of money will be cut off eventually. London is ridiculously expensive. Unless ur kylie Jenner who was made into money you’re not going to be able to just drop out. Living off ur parents money or other peoples money is shameful when you get to a certain age u need to be able to work for ur own money and with that u can do what u want with. Social media isn’t a good thing to fall back on. Not only this, but you don’t want to end up throwing a lot of education away because u stupidly watched a silly girl drop out at 16. Once the generation who support her grow up she will notice a massive decline in her views. Media is hard. So remember this before u think of dropping out. To the Americans us British go to primary school, high school we leave for college at 16 it’s just another form of education except we get more freedom.

stoppp 😫. i was a drop out at 15. had panic attacks everyday, and the days i could hold it together i would cry all day not knowing why. i got prescribed anxiety medication and i’m going back to school when it starts this year. i’m going to an alt ed school so i will be completing two years in one. if i go in and do good this year it’s my last year. i’m trying to get school over with so i can get a job and start saving for college. i want to start my own business but it is not that easy to get far without degrees or even a high school diploma. i thought about just getting my GED, but that won’t get me very far either. i don’t know your reasons, but maybe online school or a GED will do a little justice. but i’d suggest completing some sort of education. i’m trying my best to just get it done so i can focus on what i want. i don’t want to be back in school, but it’s not about what i want rather what i need. wish you luck girl!

@@someshortweeb4972 i can understand that. i was diagnosed with severe anxiety and my doctor said it’s most likely from school. i have been through a lot, so i am very timid around people. i can’t pay attention to the lesson, as i am paying attention to who’s around me. i’ve been touched where i shouldn’t have been by another student in 8th grade. i refuse to sit next to anybody. i need to be alone in the back. sadly i know the person very well and we still go to school together. i had to get my schedule changed multiple times due to him. i couldn’t take it anymore when i had a panic attack and was CORNERED by FOUR administrators each one was touching me, i was crying, couldn’t breathe, face felt like it was pumping/tingling my tongue was tingling and i couldn’t talk. i cried and cried because i couldn’t talk. finally i felt two hands on my shoulders and i knew who it was. my counselor pulled me out of the room and i just poured my eyes out to her. she got my bag and took me to the bathroom til i got checked out. i haven’t gone back since and will be going to an alt ed this year to get it over with. school can most definitely give you mental health issues.

When you’re 16 and wealthy enough to support your drop out life style and is too naive to realize 90% jobs require a high school education or higher even at the restaurant she ate at. She’s too out of touch Just go to school and deal with it; as a person who didn’t like school, you’ll miss it at some point and that’s a fact

No man it's perfect and being an influencer is a totally sustainable long term job. She's surely not in for a rude awakening, plus she contributes a lot to society through her job so even if the glamorous facade of it all dries up she'll at least feel good about the work itself (brand mouthpiece) and won't have an existential crisis realizing she's been wasting her time and her skill set used to secure her living can't stop her from being replaced with an untrained 16 year old.
