@@bristewart8669 ooooh that's a good question. I love more "classic" style of books, but for the autumn season my favorites would have to be all the Sherlock Holmes stories. Most places sell them in a collection, but they are the best for being a little bit spooky but not too scary.

another great place to buy books is the used book store or thrift store. So many to choose from and inexpensive. I also find so many really pretty books to display at home. And fun to look for on many occasions

I remember when my city opened our own library, we would always go there and find new books to read and it was part of our weekly routine. I miss that so much and am so sad because that library is now closing because it isn’t used. I wish it was normal again to go to libraries

I HIGHLY recommend the Winter Street series by Elin Hilderbrand. I read the entire series every Christmas season (each book is centered around this holiday). The story line and character development makes much more sense if you read the books in order, starting with Winter Street. Hope you enjoy. I absolutely love ☺️

Allison! I love your videos, so aesthetic! I hope you see this. I wanted to let you know that there's supposed to be an E-library website for every library in each state. So if your library doesn't have what you are looking for, then you should be able to request a book from another library in your state and have it sent to your local one where you can pick it up. You can find almost anything. Even CDs to listen to in your car, audio books, dvds to watch...tv shows on dvd and my personal fave, old movies from the 1920s to the 1960s. My advice is to borrow duplicates in case one of the discs skip. 😉

i'm not sure if you library operates the same ways our do in australia (i would assurme so) but i always log on to the website and search titles on via the online catalogue and then request whatever books i want, for me to pick up at the location of my choice! they just ship the books from different libraries in your city/county. that may be handy when you're looking for something specific vs just browsing the library :)

I recently did a fall inspired book haul and think you might enjoy some of the books! I LOVE September! I was that geeky girl who looked forward to school and loved reading, so it’s no surprise I selected books, about books! One is based on true events and takes place at Oxford University, it’s called The Dictionary of Lost Words. The second book I recommend is called The Binding, A Novel. Hope you like the suggestions! Hi Allison😊... A TIP⚠️.. If you do that again with smoothies, and don't like the taste🤢.. Pour the smoothy into ice cube boxes or (I use ikea bags).. Freeze. And then add the frozen smoothy ice cubes (or broken up pieces, if you froze flat in a bag) into new smoothies you make in the future... That way you don't waste them.. But you can use exactly the amount you want so it doesn't spoil the flavor of your smoothy. I did this when I overused ginger in a smoothy one time😉🤗. PS. If you use whole lemons🍋.. Only use organic lemons🍋 due to pesticides etc.

Allison I put a whole organic lemon 🍋 if it’s very large I’ll take half of it, 8 ounces of water two handfuls of spinach, half of an organic apple if it’s small a whole one seeded. The lemon brightens up the smoothie. Oh and honey to taste.

You should read Viola Shipman books, they are lovely. I live in southwest MI and most all of his ( he writes under his grandmothers name) books take place on the western side of MI. The first book is The Charm Bracelet. Enjoy 🥰
