Love the new home and all the storage. One tip we found was to put a clear small bumper pad on the wall where the knobs hit. You can also add the same felt type,same color as knob on the knob to prevent scaring the wall. * in Colleen fashion “ let me just whip up some rolls while I’m organizing🥰”

Hi Colleen...oh my goodness, we just had the same thing for supper yesterday..only we had cornbread instead of rolls. It's hunting season, so the guys love to come in to a hot meal as it is very cold here in Michigan. First snow was yesterday and a little dusting this morning. Your cabinet transformation was awesome. Bless your heart in regards to having to reach so high..but you have made it functional for you. Love the area you took your walk..so peaceful and beautiful..God blessed us with a lot of nature to enjoy. Have a blessed night..take care..God bless 🤗

Hi Colleen....thanks for the visit. It does take a while to make a house into your home. The cabinets in the utility room are probably even more of a problem with the undated washers and dryers they make now. I too have cabinets over our washer and dryer and this last set of appliances we purchased has me on my tippy toes. But I can reach...but really notice it when the detergent bottle is new...so heavy. You will get the pantries sorted out; I'm still working on mine after 11 months. I am like you, I have to have all of the boxes gone within 2 days. I’ve got an end table in my laundry room for the laundry stuff I use often!!! We just got rid of some portfolios as it had been submitted and copies had been taken by our evaluators so we don’t need to keep those!!! I remember dropping sugar and my older daughter thought it was funny!!! She was 6 at the time!!!

I wish we could get rid of portfolios! We don’t turn them in but we do have to keep them in case anyone ever wants to review them.

I think it was a coat closet really since there was not one by front door. Builders do cheap out tho.

Love seeing your videos each week again! We’ve been in our new home for 3 months already and I’m still figuring things out. This new house has a lot more storage and with all of Serenity’s medical supplies and equipment that helps a ton but still trying to organize and put things that work for me is still a work in progress.

My tall storage, I put my paper towels and stuff or things I don't use much either because I have to get a stool out. I think that's normal with tall cabinets. I'm always pulling out my step stool and I'm tall! lol ;)
