So excited for you with your new home build. Speaking from experience, we have found that if the builders know you will stop by everyday (as possible), should there be a question that comes up, they will wait to ask you. Also, if a mistake is made, you will catch it early. Mistakes and misinformation happens and the earlier they are found, the easier they are to correct. We had a window that was to be moved over a few feet but the brickers didn’t know and started bricking on that side of the house. We caught it early and were able to have it where it needed to be. We caught a mistake at our son’s home. The contractor didn’t read the plans correctly and made the front porch too low. (It is a plantation style front with tall columns.) Since the error was caught early, it was an easy correction. It would have been very costly to fix otherwise. There always seems to be some hiccups along the way, but if you’re watching, it can go much smoother. You won’t be in their way. Remember, it’s your house and they are working for you. Showing kindness and appreciation goes along way. Blessings. 💕
