You’ve made me fall in love with the whole act of reading books again. You know, the buying of it from a bookstore, admiring the cover, smelling and feeling the texture of the pages. I’m in India and there are hardly any bookshops open but I’m trying to finish all that I have currently at home. Trying not to order from Amazon but the temptation is real. I’m back on my reading grind too and currently reading a Murakami. Norwegian Wood is one of my favourite books too so I sincerely hope you like it too. This felt like a journal entry to nowhere lol. But thank you for your content, Nayna. You don’t know how much your videos mean to me. And I’d love to see more booksy videos if you can! Love you x

I read on Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous last month & it is hands down one of the best books I’ve ever read. Despite its size it took e a while to get through because it dealt with really heavy topics. It is a great book and the prose is 100/10!

LOVED THIS SO SO MUCH!!! (as a bookworm myself this was amazing). I also read 'Klara and the Sun' bc you recommended it a few weeks back and omg i DONT REGRET IT- ITS SO GOOD (now i really want to read 'never let me go' too!)- and i agree with your review- the world is so dystopian but its not unimaginable- like esp the people being on their 'oblongs' (=phones) all the time. And beeyond the mysterious and the strange, you see small human moments that pull you in and hook your heart. Josie and Rick and their pictures - the mother and the father and their complicated relationship , Vance and Helen. How Klara loved Josie like a sibling though she was a robot. It’s beautiful narration and there's just something so beautiful about Klara's voice. And her observations- it almost feels you’ve been given this view, this extraordinary birds eye view of the human condition itself - of the heart, of love, of hope, of the irrational and sometimes illogical human behaviour. We get to see it all from a 'non-human' point of view (almost like a bird's view) - and I can’t help feeling grateful to Klara for capturing it, seeing it all and recording it in such a way that it makes me, as the reader, feel lucky be human.

Read Kafka on the Shore ( another one of Murakami's books)!! I'm so shocked noone talks about it - one of the trippiest books I've ever read and definitely my favourite (along with The Kite Runner by Hosseini) SO good. Love your videos Nayna!! Thanks for keeping me inspired every week xx
