Yeah it’s easy to get caught up in the highlights, which are great. I think of wanting to move to Japan like a marriage. Right now I have stayed with this idea even as I’ve learned about all of the bad stuff, and I feel like I’ll miss my family and my culture. But I still want to live there anyways, so that’s how you know if you want to move there, if it sits for a while and you can’t get it out of your head! c: Although i might change my mind again, I don’t have to make a decision for another few years

Why has everything in Japan such a different... aestethic? Only see some street and you can tell it's japan, even if it not soo different then here. But still there are so little differents you can tell. I'm still hope I will be in japan someday to see all this differents in real.

Ikr, I guess it’s just that we have this picture of Japan in our heads and unlike how it’s is in other places it’s is actually not glorified or presented as prettier as it is, Japan is mostly portrayed how it really is (in Movies,series’s and anime’s etc.)

Bcs you have your focus mainly on that probably. MANY countries actually have these kind of beautiful sights etc. its not just japan at all. + i do not only refer to east and southeast asia but also places on other parts of the earth. People just dont take a look at them , so ofcourse youll not gonna notice it. Japan is popular thats why people look more to that side and less to other countries.

The more I live (I'm 56) the more I have come to understand how important it is to "downsize" your life and be minimalist. My Japanese grandmother often talked about wartime and how important it was to lead a very simple life and enjoy being rather than having. After a painful 26-year relationship that ended I'm rediscovering pleasure in very simple things like watching a movie, going for a stroll, cuddling my dog, and doing daily chores. That has brought me enormous relief and to be honest I'm feeling peaceful. Now I can fully appreciate that lifestyle. Thank you so much.

I love this! From the cute cat wall clock, the cozy bed, the window and the apartment itself. Its so aesthetically pleasing. And its so chill being alone, binge watching shows you like, eating foods you like just chilling in the living room and the urban japan scenery while walking. For people like me who loves an uncomplicated life this is perfect. I can totally relate, rented my own apartment for the first time last December and though its not as nice as this apartment and I'm not in japan, but being alone finally away from my family gave me the peace and quite I have always wanted ever since. While I struggle financially and with some things I just started learning since I live alone, nothing beats the relaxation I find going home after a day's work. Other's see it as sad, while all I see is in this video is a woman who is content and chill with her life.

I know what she mean. My weekdays are so hectic with work, errands, dealing with family stuff, people in general, the ever increasing traffic, long lines, hot weather, it’s terrible here. To stay at home and enjoy a good movie/show, eat whatever you want in the peaceful confines of your home is very relaxing. That’s what weekends are for. You have to unwind from the stress of weekdays. Just too bad weekends are so short. Whoever created this two day weekend is clearly a workaholic!

Just because I like kpop people expect me to be obsessed with Korea but I actually would love living in Japan. This kind of life seems amazing to my introverted self, and Japan is literally so cool.
