Ok I don't know if it's just a California thing or maybe it's just like a thing in my town, but our prom is kind of different. For example most people have long dresses for formal and short, bright dress for prom. Prom is much more low key than formal and everyone wears very bright short dresses. And it's also like a tradition to go to dinner after pictures and then go to the prom because at our prom we don't eat dinner, there are little snacks but most people are dancing the whole time anyway. I thought this was very interesting!
