You need to go to Walmart or target or somewhere and get a ice scraper for the winter time so that way when that happens you can scrape it all off. Awhile you do that turn up the heater and do exactly what you was doing. You have a defrost, use that and it will help and they say best thing to do in the winter time is go out before you leave and start your car that way your engine as time to warm up before you take off cause they say it’s not good on the engine. Hope this advice kinda help. Love you and I’m happy your back and feeling much better 💖

i live in Indiana and so i always have ice on my windshields and when im in a hurry i jus put my defroster on high heat and run my wipers FULL speed. lol it helps and makes the process go faster.

PRO TIP: Keep a spray bottle of 91% isopropyl alcohol so when your windshield is iced just spray it on there and the ice is gone!!

When you know it’s gonna be colder outside, start your car about 10 mins in advance and put your heat on full blast on the defrost setting (the heat blows out of the vents up by the windshield) and it will defrost your windows :) or you can buy de-icer from walmart and it just sprays on and melts the ice! but make sure you have a small towel in your car to wipe it off or else it will just re freeze on your window!

OMG! I'm from Canada and I died when you got in your car and there was ice on it and you didn't know what to do. It never even occurred to me that not everyone has a snowbrush in their car. I’m from Ny and ice on the windshield is a daily thing. Lol you put on the defrost. and get a ice scraper to take it off. But idk if that have them in Alabama. Lol

If you are ever in that situation ( about the window ice ) grab a ziploc bag Put hot water in it and then drag the ziploc bag across the window. Lol it usually works for me
