Yes you need to charge for the dumpster. You need to set the price for 2-3 days. Extra for extra days. They are tieing up your asset.

Always make it make sense. If you rent 1-3 days for a price anything over 3 days has to be an additional fee. A good client understands that. If not it makes room for one that will. Just my opinion though. Way to upsell! Keep doing what works for you!💯🫡✌🏽

I am sure you figured out what to do with your client, my two cents as a translator with clients of my own, they can understand your POV, they have clients too, come out straight and tell him, hey, it's not working for me, can you do X more. Or implement stricter, clear rules for future rentals, 25 per extra day for up to 3 days, anything over it's 50 bucks a day.

I do 385 for 5 days for my 16 yard. 14 dollars a day for additional days up to two weeks. If customers call Looking for dumpster for more than a week I usually send them to the big guys.

When you go cheap they will keep it longer when you go high they will keep it at a shorter time you should start off at 500 to 1,000 a day that way you can pay the dump fee and still have money in your pocket

I’m the one that lives in Yulee Florida. I charge $300 for two days 2 tons included. I have about a 45 minute drive to my dump, which is $22 a ton any additional days are $25 per day up to five days
