Wow Kendra I needed this today! 🙏 you're doing God's work🤗....even if you don't feel you are doing enough I hope you know you are helping so many by sharing your journey. I started watching you when you were pregnant with the twins bc I found out I was pregnant with twins shortly after. ☺️ Anyway I just started homeschooling my twins as well & never thought I would homeschool either. Lots of prayers through out my day & time outs for myself 😅😂 but I know it will all work out.

I could NOT love this more!! I love that this is a conversation you’re starting surrounding motherhood. I’m 23, have been married for a couple years and all my life have felt a super strong desire and calling to be a mother. It’s all I’ve ever wanted to be and struggled SO much the few years I went to college because I just did not feel the pull to any of my career options. I quit school a few years ago and have been focusing on postpartum doulaing & night nannying for moms until my husband and I are ready to have babies next year. while I’m so grateful to God for the clarity He’s given me early on in my life and wouldn’t change it for the world, it has also been very hard for me not hitting the same milestones as my friends, or the milestones our culture deems important (partying in college/getting married after “living and experiencing life on your own”/getting a degree and having a traditional 9-5/waiting until 28+ to have kids/etc). your videos are so encouraging even when I don’t have kids yet and I just have to tell you’ve I’ve drawn so much inspiration from you and written down so many things I want to bring into my motherhood experience. thanks for having this counter cultural conversation 🤍🤍

I’ve been with you since the vita cost days and Seattle videos and it’s just been really cool to see your transparency and changes throughout the years. A book that was really transformation for me was glimpses of grace and mission motherhood by Gloria Furman. And then later I read Raising Grateful Kids in an ungrateful world and man just all these wise mothers who have gone on missions and all the wisdom they share was just really humbling. Love seeing how the Lord has moved you. 🤍🌱

Wow, I love this video SO much! I have struggled over the years with self worth, not feeling like what I did at home mattered. Using your influence to support moms and women and give a voice to this struggle means a lot.

I was in a very chaotic season. When I watched you channel I always felt the peaceand love in you and your home. I didn't even know till recently till I was able to watch you tube again you were a Christian....I appreciate your stand for your faith and see its ok to mess up a and Apologize and show them we need grace too. You are an amazing mom and woman of God. I am so thankful that you posted this. I am trying to go back to work. I love daily grace co....I got one for my birthday and it's the Seek one in Psalms 61-90...they are so good. Also they sponsor you tube creators....so maybe reach out to them 😉 thank you for talking about walking out your faith with your family. And when Owen says it smells like you 🥰🥰🥰🥰 sweetest memory ever 🥰

And Kendra you are such a wonderful and amazing Mom....I watch in admiration, always give yourself grace for any little thing.....and you have your priorities in perfect place.....I love your channel so much, hopefully you will have your channel a long time, if you ever decide to stop you tube, don't just disappear, at least say.......two recent channels I always so enjoyed after years of watching, they both just stopped posting, how nice if people at least said, they are ending their channel. Happy new school year with the kids, you touched on many many great points on this video.

It is so beautiful to see the evolution of your motherhood journey, even if it is not how I could manage. It is important to keep in mind that we, as mothers, do not have to be the same all the time. It would have been chaotic to try this approach when Owen was a baby, but now seems to work, and who knows, maybe when he is older you could go back to working “full time” (or not!). Love that you are doing what is best for your family and yourself right now! ❤️

I loved the chat in the beginning! I've watched you since before you had kids and it's so nice to see how you have transitioned into motherhood. I plan on homeschooling as well and get a lot out of your content. You've always reminded me of someone off of Laguna Beach so I thought it was funny when you mentioned being a fan girl! 😂

Your strongly-rooted faith is so inspiring, Kendra! I feel like you hadn't shared as much of it at the beginning of your channel. I'm curious, were you raised in a very faith-centric family or did you develop it more throughout marriage? Did Andrew and his family have a similar upbringing and belief system? hugs xox

All I’ve ever wanted is to be a home-maker/stay at home mum. I work because I have to and haven’t met my future husband or had my future kids lol 😂 But I do hope that when I have kids, I can make being a mom my full time job. But dang, when I tell people that, I don’t want to work, I want to be a mom… they have this look like I am so lazy or something, like not having ambition to be the best ever whatever is some awful thing. But the most important thing to me, what brings me the most joy, is the idea of having a happy home, teaching my kids, cooking for my family and creating a wonderful life together. Anyway, I get the guilt because I don’t even have any of this yet but I feel bad about it because society makes it seem like it’s a bad thing. Society has lost so many very important values. Family and raising children, and spending so much time together, to help shape humans and create good people with solid values, is so important. Anyway - back to the video! Had to pause for that, really feel strongly about that point 😂 also, I highly recommend the book, the conscious parent - you look within to your inner child and it’s really interesting how parents put their expectations onto their children, and forget to allow them to be. It’s like what you were saying about what God wants, to show love and compassion etc. it’s a very good book. ✨

Oh wow, so the Tesla is gone, definitely wasn’t expecting that. They’re cool, but really not practical, especially if they get damaged it takes months to get them fixed. That’s awesome that he made money off of it though. 👍🏻

You can still be a great mum , fantastic role model , supportive and loving to our kids while working a full time job outside of the home . Those two are not mutually exclusive . You talk as if being a mum means staying at home ?
