Is it normal for teachers in Japan to start late in the morning and work evenings? Right now I wake up at 5.30 but school is out by 3.40

Hey Louise... I think most teachers either work during the day at a public school - say from 8:30am-4:30pm OR during the afternoon/evening at an after school academy - say from 2pm-9pm. For my job, I work at both a private high school AND an after school program. I don't have to work office hours, so I just show up for class/preparation and then leave when I'm done. I think my situation is not the norm based on my encounters with other English teachers here, but I enjoy it. Thanks for watching =)

Awesome video! I want to be an English teacher in Japan too! Could you recommend me a company?
