You can melt some wax and put in the bottom of the candle holder hole, then sit the candle in the warm wax, and it will harden and hold it.

Hack for the candles...use saran wrap to wrap the bottom of the candles so they fit in the holders! My boyfriend said his grandma used to to it all the time.💛💛

A hack for making candles stick in the holders is getting the wax on the end that goes into the holder a little melty so they stick upright!

Hey Allison. Tip for your candles. Light them up or use another candle and let the hot wax drop inside your candle stands and while the wax is still hot and liquid put in your candles they will stay put 🙂

For the candles, try melting the bottom so you can stick them to the holder. Then next time you won’t have to cut them. Love you xx

Hi Allison , advice for your candle holder tip ..........just light up the wicker end then tip it over the hole of your candle holder and let some wax fall in ( a couple of drops to cover the base area ( but quickly so it doesn’t dry up then place your candle in its place putting a slight downwards pressure and the wax dries it will then hold ) 😀😀

Usually what I do to make the candles stick, I light the bottom of the candle with a lighter for few seconds, and then I push it down and hold it until it's set. It's a technique I learnt. Good luck 🤞

About the candle - to stay in the place just lit the old one and wait until it melts then put a few drops in the holder and immediately place the new candle 🕯 hold it for a few seconds as it works as a glue, I hope it makes sense and no need to cut anything!!!

To fix those beautiful candles just wrap a rubber band around the bottom until it's the thickness you want. You'll never see it once it's in the holder.

I always melt a bit of wax off the bottom and stick the taper into the wax “puddle” and hold it there for a few seconds until it starts to set. Works like a charm.

Allison, if you have trouble with the candle staying up still, you could try getting a small bit of cardboard and wrapping it around the base inside of the hole to cut a hold it firmer in the future. I’ve done that before and it worked pretty well :-)

Hi Allison! About your skin mark, yes ! It’s most likely the lemon or lime. My mom has always told me growing up to be careful eating/using lemon in the sun because it temporarily stains your skin. It’s kind of the same effect as when people use lemon to lighten their hair & then sit in the sun

Sometimes when I get taper candles that don't fit right into the holder I'll just put a little sticky tack at the bottom of the holder to keep it in place! Love this vid as always ❤️

You could try a product called Stick-Um for your taper candles. It's almost like a clear waxy paste that you rub on the bottom of them and it holds them in place. :)

Hi Allison!! Love your videos!! The mark on your hand looks like something similar to what my husband had and we think it was a ringworm from working out in the yard. Dirt can carry the fungus. We bought an over the counter cream called Lotrimin for antifungal. It went away after a few uses. Hopefully it is an easy fix!! Could also be from the leash as if it drags it could also carry a fungus on it from other animals. You can always put the leash in the wash now and then. I hope it goes away soon!! Hi Allison! I’ve had trouble with tapered candles fitting into their holders in the past. I’ve ended up cutting them and also taking a lighter to he bottom and melting them slightly so the wax is sticky and sticks to the candle holder. Hope this helps!

Alison... Melt some wax🐝 into the candle stick to hold the candle in place🎂.. Or wrap a bit a natural string around the base of the candle to make it thicker to fit tightly into the candle stick. I saw the vacuum you have in the laundry room! We have the same one! Just a tip: our last one kinda blew up because we plugged it in right after we used it because it was still hot. So always make sure it has cooled off so you don’t have to replace it! :)

lol I have OCD about taper candles needing to stand up super straight! if you melt the bottom a bit you can put it in the candle holder and position it pretty well before the wax dries! It works great! When you take it out there might be some wax at the bottom but you can easily clean it out :)

I had trouble fitting candles to the candle holder in my piano, so I would use a bit of foil and put it at the bottom of the candle holder and around the candle. Or you can use melted wax from a different candle and put it at the bottom :) hope it helps!

Another trick in regards to the candle is to put some hot candle wax in the holder right before you put the candles in and that should hold them into place.
