I did this at 42 years old! I worked full time and went to school at night. I would leave work at 4:30 pm, drive approximately 40 minutes to the school, got out at 10:00 pm, drove 50 miles home, arriving around 11:30 to midnight. Up again at 5:00 am and did it all over again for 4 days a week for 9 months. This was almost 20 years ago! I couldn't do it now, that's for sure.....but at the time I loved it and loved working at the job I got after graduating. My point is, if you want something bad enough, you can do anything! It's a wonderful job/career, and I highly recommend it.

Not sure how you would know what a medical assistant does considering they don't work in the same type of facility as a CNA. Medical Assistants work outpatient and cna work inpatient. Jobs and training are nothing alike.
