I did this at 42 years old! I worked full time and went to school at night. I would leave work at 4:30 pm, drive approximately 40 minutes to the school, got out at 10:00 pm, drove 50 miles home, arriving around 11:30 to midnight. Up again at 5:00 am and did it all over again for 4 days a week for 9 months. This was almost 20 years ago! I couldn't do it now, that's for sure.....but at the time I loved it and loved working at the job I got after graduating. My point is, if you want something bad enough, you can do anything! It's a wonderful job/career, and I highly recommend it.

I originally was taught to hold the vaccutainer with two fingers under it onto the patient’s forearm but just recently did a refresher after 10 years, they held the vaccutainer flat onto the forearm and anker it with your pinky and ring finger onto the forearm. But I find that difficult.

Is it possible for you to keep me up do date on your process sometimes? No worries, I’m not weird...lol. Happily married to a European woman, I just don’t have any Swedish friends and I so curious about the nursing program there. Are there a lot of jobs once you graduate? Is the pay good?
