I just started nursing school this semester too and we just had our first check off last Wednesday! I was so freaking nervous too 😂 On my way to lab I kept saying the steps over and over and over. I was so worried I was gonna forget stuff. Luckily my partner and I passed!!

I'm in the process of getting my CNA license now and then will be appling to nursing school. But, I remember the first time that I tried to take a BP on an actual human being...not as easy as I thought it was going to be! Skills aren't as easy as we think sometimes! I was not expecting that. LOL

okay i’m a freshman in hs and i wanna be a neonatal nurse when i get older and i’m very confused on the whole college situation, can someone plz explain to me exactly what degree and what type of colleges we do first- example is associate degree community college in nursing-plz im very confused and no one teaches us in school

Savanna Ledden so basically there are two ways to become a nurse! You can either go to a community college and get an associates degree or some bigger schools also have this. An associates degree is a two year program and you get the same skills training as you would in a bachelors program. You take the NCLEX after you graduate & will be a RN. Or you can go to a school and get your bachelors degree. This is a four-five year program depending on where you go and after you graduate you will take the NCLEX and become a RN. Some hospitals require you to get your bachelors so if you get your associates and go to a hospital that wants you to have a bachelors some will pay for part of your schooling. It just depends on what route you want to take!

habiba beebah I personally did not like the community college I went to for a semester and LOVE my private school BUT it definitely depends on how you are & your financial situation! I have friends who went to community college and they loved it!
