Wow 21 years old. That means you were 16 years old when you worked for another contractor, if you got your contractors license today. Contract law requires one to work in the industry for 5 years and have 2 other contractors sign an affidavit confirming one knows his work to apply for a contractors license. Unless you don't actually have a contractor's license...

@@Forreally In California, it's illegal to do any job that costs more than $500 total for both materials and labor and can't be completed in 1 day or less. And if caught, they will audit you all the way back to when your bank account was opened, then take all your shit away. So if he isn't licensed he's taking on jobs illegally and risking everything. Or..because a person is required to have 2 licensed contractors sign a paper of acknowledgement that you have 5 years experience in the trade, and you have to prove of your working for a licensed contractor in the trade to qualify to apply for a contractors license. There's no such a thing as an illegal contractor. The contractor license is what makes a person a contractor. It's just an illegal business without the contractors license. So yes.. it is true.

@@Forreally You can take all the classes you want, but without a contractors license it won't matter. Your working illegally and risk a huge fine and jail time. And unless those are college classes, they don't mean anything. Their not accredited and not acknowledged by the industry.
