I tried my best to include more of the day to day activities I do, and lots of times I cannot film like a meeting or getting started doing x or y due to security/policy issues. For example, if I wanted to full film everyone doing their standup or a quick bit of it, I'd need everyone's permission, blurred out backgrounds, and blocked conversations. I'll take this into account for my next video though! Thank you for your feedback.

Hey Alan, I did corporate housing. During the Fall, they use corporate housing and most are 1 bedrooms that are single or shared.

Hey Austin, the laptop in the video was provided by Amazon (yes I stuck stickers on a company laptop haha). It was a late 2017 13 inch MacBook Pro with 16gb ram and an i7.

@@austinchanh3313 If you're looking to get one, I'd recommend it for development and build quality. Also, even if the tech companies provide them, it'd be better to get your own as most work laptops have policies that track your network traffic or can remotely wipe your laptop at any time.

I didn't get return offer in the end, and I didn't want to go back anyway. I am just curious did u get return offer?

Some schools require you to take a co-op course while doing an internship during the school year so in that sense yes. However most of the time the internship is a full time job so school isn’t something done along side.

Companies tend to use them because they are very powerful laptops (needed for compiling) and because you can only create Mac/iOS apps with a Mac computer. You could write all the code in Windows and it could be perfect, but you aren't allowed to actually make the app to put on the app store. Thus, any company that wants to have an iOS app is forced to use Macs, at least to some degree.

How are your eyes doing after all day looking at screens?

They are actually doing pretty well. I wear contacts but to reduce the strain on my eyes I use tools like f.lux or eye savor mode on monitors. The trick is to also stay a good distance from the screen.

I think overall, getting an internship can be summarized into: 1. Get an Interview. 2. Do well on the interview. Researching into both of those steps should be enough to go off of!
