Thank you so much for watching! For tops, we can basically wear any color or pattern we want as long as it’s not a large logo. That’s pretty much the only major change with the new dress code. Everything else stays pretty much the same!

Hi I wanted to ask if you know any good tips or advice on how to get hired by Starbucks? I live in the US and have applied to 7 different Starbucks places using their online application, but all seven instantly rejected me the minute I submitted my application. So I called them and even walked in person to let them know and met with a hiring manager in two of the places, but so far none of them have called me back. Been trying for three weeks now and I now call them sometimes so it doesn’t look like I’m desperately in need of a job since I don’t think it’s professional to look so desperate, but as a senior in High school trying to support my independent living situation, I’m just in desperately need of one. I don’t know if I should call the same places again like after one week, wait it out till they call me, or just call them after like three days later? I have no experiences in working since this is my first ever job seeking, but I do show great potential in hardworking. Thank you!!

How long is the training to be a barista? How do u manage to work while studying in university? Is the salary worth it? Hi i love your videos and i just applied yesterday to a Starbucks here in the Philippines ❤️

So, the training itself isn’t too long. It just takes a long time to get good at being a barista. I think it takes 3 months to feel comfortable and 6 months to be really good! But it’s totally worth it! The salary in the United States is pretty good and if I had to guess, it might be even better in the Philippines! So far, I haven’t had a problem with working while studying in university but unfortunately, Starbucks in the US has been implementing a lot of policies that makes it more difficult for people to be baristas and students

Im a barista at starbucks in anchorage ak, and lemme just tell you it took me 3 months to actually bar it was so hard for me at first but I got used to it and just adapted i was also known at my store like she will do anything but bar😂😂 ( making drinks ) I was pretty much good at everything so never no argue but it was hard to get me on there until my shift lead finally told me I had to learn how to bar its mandatory lol Ive been working here for almost 10 months and Now when I clock in its like Im never off Bar 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 Its just something you get good and remember in time tbh.

My store doesn’t require us to wear gloves and I personally believe that they really impair my ability to make drinks because they always stick to the stickers when I’m trying to put them on drinks. Instead, my store has a hand washing timer that goes off every 30 min and we’re required to wash our hands. Normally I wash them much more than every 30 min because I hate the feeling of sticky hands that comes with making drinks
