Salam, jazaki Allahu khair for the video, it was really wonderful seeing what an average day is like for a GP! I wanted to ask-- will you continue on to specialize, or stick with being a GP? And how do you balance practicing as a family physician with being a mother? I know there are part-time options-- is that necessary, or does the profession give you time/resources to dedicate to your kids?

Thanks for watching! GP is a speciality so that’s the end of the road for me! I work part time so definitely doable - obviously entirely dependent on your own circumstances.

As a muslim woman, did you ever participate in surgery and if so did you comply with the 'bare below elbow' when wearing scrubs; for context im a muslim woman thinking of going into surgery.

Hi from Turkey . I’m Dr Ahmet ,family medicine resident in Ankara Hospital . Your working hours are too much . Are you paid extra for acute emergency working ? In my country family medicine physicians work between 8:30-12:00 am and 13:00-16:30 pm .

They hide behind their desks, hide behind their computers, hide behind others, when they can't face the music, they are very good at hiding things from others they don't want them to see, very good at covering things up, they want to get on with their job, thinking they can get away with it.
