Law school is very stressful so I suggest finding what you are passionate about because that will pull you through law school. I also suggest finding or keeping a hobby because that will help you release stress and keep you sane all throughout! :) For grades, as much as possible sana above average para masmataas and chances to get into the school hehe

Me and my family are currently living in the US and ofc nursing is one of the high paying jobs here. So I was forced to do nursing but I really really really really (repeat 100x) want to be a lawyer. Do you think I will be so behind if I do law after nursing? Does it mean na if I do law I will focus on the medical side kasi nursing ako? or walang relationship yung pre-law sa law? Thank you po ate. BTW you're so pretty prettyyyy
@pepperrona6 жыл бұрын
Hello! I know some people who took up law in their late 40's/50's. I have a contemporary who retired from practicing medicine and is currently in law school. They actually do well in class because their experiences have helped them see things in a different perspective :) Kayang kaya kung ito talaga yung gusto mo in life hehe! I don't think your pre-law really matters! Some might be more advantageous in some law courses but it doesn't matter what your pre-law is because you're going to be taking up the same things anyway (basics to more specialised topics) hehe Also, may medical jurisprudence din in law so I think it'll be helpful to you! Thank you!! Hope you get to follow your dream! :)

Hi Garnet!! 1. Always read the codal 2. It doesn't matter if you read in the originals or digests, as long as you understand!! Tho some profs choose to nitpick, if you can't finish everything assigned, study smart nalang hehe 3. Get some sleep and rest! Mental health and physical health is very important!! 4. Don't compare yourself sa speed or way of studying ng block mates or classmates mo. Altho the learning curve is steep, do things at your own pace and just do your best! 5. Do things you love while in law school :)

Hi! :) I think that's fine! Honestly, for me, it's best to pursue something that you also like before going into law school. It's okay to take a course other than Legal Management, kasi all courses can be pre-law courses. :) Just make sure you're able to take up all the required subjects like # of units in English, History, etc Good luck with your journey!

Kapag po ba nag law ka,pipili ka dapat ng specialisation? O nakageneralized na po talaga s'ya na law?
@RochAndRona5 жыл бұрын
Hello! Depende sa law school na papasukan mo. Sa UP kasi wala kaming specialization pero may mga electives naman na pwede pagpilian. Alam ko may ibang unibersidad na may specialization :) Eventually, you would have to more or less choose a field of law you will specialize in after the bar :)

@@RochAndRona thank you po.Last question po.Sa tingin nyo po ano yung pinakamarerecommend na field?Saka anong mga book po ang pwede nyong I recommend para makapagready po.Thank you

Hello!

@pepperrona6 жыл бұрын
Hello!! I wouldn't say hindi matalino or anything like that, more of tamad or hindi lang masyado driven nung una or may unfortunate circumstances, pero eventually nung nagpursige naman, successful. People from different walks of life become lawyers and become successful hehe I don't think nagmamatter yung background as long as nagpursige ngayon hehe

Law students counting on you. Write the papers, ask the questions, considering representing after graduation. This issue is very much a women's rights issue, and women mostly impacted. Brain injury disempowers one and often creates docility and apathy. Women in abusive relationships are often identified as "the one with the problem of mental illness." I was in a covert NPD relationship for years that led me to this. Please be informed. This is used now in dementia and with children with autism for behavioral control. Getting "kicked in the head by a horse through the use of ECT" will make it comfortable for many in outcomes except the patient. Why will health care journalists not address this? We are beginning to attend brain injury support groups at this time. This is a global human rights issue. It is the issue of ECT/electroshock. It is being performed at an alarming rate for many diagnosis outside of severe depression. It is being performed at leading medical institutions to include the large HMO Kaiser Permanente. This procedure nor the device has ever had FDA testing for safety or even effectiveness. The devices in over 80 years have never been required to have pre-market approval before the FDA. These devices deliver up to 450 volts to patients brains and greater. The FDA has had it previously classified as experimental until recently. It was recently declassified to the safety level of syringes and eye glasses. It was reduced in status so more insurers would pay on it. This was declassified with an active law suit in place around devices showing brain injuries. It was declassified STILL without any testing done to prove effectiveness or safety. They do not test because all know full well it is TBI at minimum in outcomes. The California courts have proved brain injuries at a minimum around devices recently. Electrical trauma impacts all systems. Electrical trauma can evolve years out in damages to include CTE, ALS, and cardiac issues etc. We as patients are warned only of temporary memory loss expected to resolve in six week along with the typical anesthesia risks. Material risk of brain damages missing from consents for starters. Consent is fallible. Psychiatric research by their own studies reflect structural brain changes from this procedure, and that is most certainly missing from consent. This involves billions annually in the US alone. Many have a piece of the pie in research studies, products currently at market, or products to come. All knowing full well this is purely trauma for profits at a vulnerable populations expense. All silent in these cover ups to come to light soon. Media will not address secondary to advertising incentives and reputations at stake.This is fraud. This is false claims. This is malpractice. This is criminal. This is discrimination involving a protected population under the ADA deserve testing of this device and procedure that has caused extensive and permanent damages to all it has impacted. Providers know full well what is occurring around this procedure.ALL trauma is based on MECHANISM. You have a known mechanism i.e. electrical you have a known and anticipated outcome in ALL populations to include those with mental health histories. NFL mechanism is blunt force, but our outcomes are very similar. Trauma doctors are your experts and cannot refute this. We are showing damages in testing. Recently a TBI expert has tied ECT to damages to cerebellum, brain stem, and frontal lobes in a patient. We are showing abnormalities on EEG, MRI, and neuro/cognitive testing. This is impacting professionals now. Many are unable to return to their professions after this secondary to damages of TBI verses mental health issues. We have several medical malpractice firms interviewing for suits, but we need many more. We need to be able to access resources in our recovery for rehabilitation. We deserve the same resources all other TBI patients have at their disposal. Some of my peers are committing suicide as a direct result of being denied services or even recognition by providers out of fear of the suits to come if they make notes of references to damages around this. Please see ectjustice now owned by the law firms participating in the national product liability suit. Please have conversations to address this important concern around patient and public safety. This is being also used on our children, Veterans, and women during pregnancy. As a professional, if you have information to contribute to these suits please contact the DK law group or the Baum, Hedlund, Aristei & Goldman law group in CA. Providers are criminally failing in their duty to warn, protect, and not cause harm. We need this battery of patients to end.

Hi ate ano po mga recommended nyo na pre law course? :)
@pepperrona4 жыл бұрын
Hello! Honestly, kahit anong course ay pwede mong kunin as a pre-law course. From experience, kahit iba iba kami ng courses ng mga naging kaklase ko, parepareho kami ng foundation when we started law school-- as in wala kaming alam haha!! But! If you have an idea of what field or type of lawyer you wanna be, then I suggest na kunin mo yung pre-law na makakatulong sayo. For example, mass comm or journalism if you want to be involved with media (either the industry or as a lawyer for HR- Freedom of speech and all), pol sci can help with law school subjects like public international law and the constitution, accountancy can help with taxation and corpo, management can help with corpo etc May advise din that if you aren't sure about going to law school, you have to take an undergrad degree that can help you get a job regardless :)
