Hannah, never give up on your dreams, never cease to be that beautiful person that you are. Try to use an oscillator (RSI) and look for regular and / or hidden divergences to better filter your entrances. Trading forex is to use the simple one that works. He defined his style of trade, did the analysis weeks, identified the trend, then just waiting for confirmation and take possession of the victories. Kisses, stay with God.

No pal, don't quit your current job. Don't. Forex trading isn't all roses. On days when you'll lose a ton of money to trading, and need financial support from elsewhere, your current job is going to provide that support. Take me advice, and just trade forex only when you have the time. If you're extremely busy however and can't squeeze out time, there's always the option of paying a renowned professional to trade for you. I've been doing this for over a month now, and it's been going pretty well.

method. Quarters Theory provides roadmap. You already know price moves in 25 pip rips, within 250 pip rips (look at your 4h or Daily chart), within 1000 pip ranges. Its one of hundreds of methods; in some ways they all work. More importantly - MINDSET. What are the definitive qualities that are going to give you the confidence to not care about the outcome on that ONE ticket? I mean, really, how are you going to walk away and let it be, and accept whatever happens next? B/c youve done it a million times, backtested through a simulator (ie replayed data 99% tick quality screenshotted in a diary somewhere, the best FX book you gonna read is the one you make yourself), then 1k traded it up on live account, to where you happy taking 5ks, 10ks, even 1 lots a time should u have the margin and confidence. Then dont fall over the other side getting greedy over-sizing tickets b/c you know your win rate is a lot better than 50%...even after 10k hours screen time here I still feel emotions as soon as I see any DD....I have a long way to go myself, categorically do not have all the answers, but can only tell you whats helped me. Oh, and a good Discord chat room allows you to make subfolders (ccy, trading style, cat photos; whatever you like) where you can screenshot the days price action as its ticking by...helpful for looking back at later on, after the week has happened. You know what you were thinking at the live edge when you were thinking it. And remember, price is just moving one 25 pip clip to the next. You will make it, good luck!

@roy berni I’m a full time forex trader myself and I’ve blown an account too. I recommend you to check out the series of market wizard books, which interview a lot of top traders. You will notice them talk alot about risking like 1 to 3% of their account per trade. Trading is a business that is about survival. If you only risk 1% of your account per trade, you will need 100 consecutive losses to wipe out your account. If you had backtested your strategy and you know your win rate, even if the win rate is 10%, its pretty unlikely to lose 100 times consecutively.
