what was your process into getting into it, like what degree did you get and courses etc?

I have a degree in writing with a focus on literature. I took a series of writing/editing classes, one of which happened to be grant writing. I also had a minor in youth ministry so I was already working with churches and organizations by default. After graduating I continued working with nonprofits and then eventually transitioned into writing grants. I honestly feel like a degree isn't needed because all the skills can be learned through online courses/trainings, most of which are free like Fundraising for Good. Is grant writing something you're interested in?
