As a 44-year-old mom grown up in Taiwan, I still love internet cafes! When I was a student, I didn't have much pocket money nor time to go to internet cafe, plus no Asian parents like their kids to go to such places, so going there was actually an absolute luxury to me! The food served in internet cafe is usually inexpensive, good proportion and tasty. Now I'm married with kid, I still don't have time to go there, and that makes me want to go even more! lol I just don't have the freedom to do the things I want to do anymore, and that's really sad. So seeing Robin go to internet cafe actually makes excites me! I love to see different internet cafes and what they offer. It makes me feel that I'm actually there, and I miss those good times!

Americans could learn so much from Japan. Being able to find places to stay, with wifi, tv, games, books, food, showers, and a place to sleep for $8. a night or 23 hrs. is humane, and offers dignity to ones soul. The US offers nothing to help folks feel human. Japanese folks are kinder, gentler, and genurous. Americans are not kind to homeless, nor kind, judgmental, and hostile most of the time. Rents have hit a all time High all over the states.Disabled citizens, can no longer afford a simple rental without it costing their entire check, or worse non affordable. Count your blessings my friend, it's terrifying to be homeless in most countries, and especially the USA, where people are shamed to death!

You're right, the cheapest motel where I am right now is between 70 to 100 per night depending on the demand. There is a free bar of soap, towels and a bathroom, nothing else is free, besides tap water that has weird stuff in it. I've seen people sleeping in their car in the parking lot, or behind the dumpster, or in a lot of coats wandering outside. Mostly lots of elderly and disabled sleeping outdoors too and now it's illegal to do that half the time. I don't think many will survive it, America is hell, it just keeps getting worse here. I wish we were more like that
