Yes. It's quite frustrating to me as a stay at home mom that other females have berated and put me down for choosing to stay at home with my son. And god forbid I mention that in a few years when he's ready to start school I want to home school him. My bf doesn't force me to work. He doesn't force me to stay home. It's my choice. Our choice. The feminist pendulum has swung the other way entirely. Now if you don't choose to work and dedicate yourself to your family and your home, that's seen as a bad thing. Multiple needles fanned out in different arrangements, attached to bamboo and inserted into the skin by hand, one poke at a time. The people doing Tebori have usually been dedicated to doing them for that specific family's members for a very long time. Modern tattoos, like the ones he has on himself and does for his clientele are performed with machines and not in the style of Irezumi or Wabori/Horimono which are the large scale sleeves or full body pieces that are representations of the "family's" beliefs, figures, or images of significance to them as a whole.

I recently saw a documentary in which famous tattoo artist Horiyoshi III said that he's getting more into tattooing as an artform like how westerners do it, and he is even using modern tattoo guns instead of the traditional practice with bamboo and needles (he's one of THE famous yakuza tattoo masters that the most prestigious main clans go to). In addition to that a lot of young yakuzas aren't getting irezumis anymore nowadays, only the diehard ones are. And their clan head doesn't ask it of them, either.

I love their vibe!! Soo chill!! I love their “tats” very clean and beautiful!! I bet their son with grow up to be his own person and never let others dictate his life!! Just like his parents!! I admire the young couple and hope they always love and respect each other like they do now!! I am a 70 yr old Japanese American woman that has always rebelled against any ideas that were nonsense and had nothing to do with others!! I got my first tattoo at age 50 and my 2nd one at age 68yr!! I go them because I always loved the art of it, but was too scared of needles. I finally maned up and got it done!!

I feel so happy seeing this couple. They seem so sincere and try to live the life they love. Dressing the way they want, having their own style, caring for their child and wanting their child to be happy. Sometimes, we are too bothered by how other people think of us and we just end up being someone else, unhappy with ourselves, our family, friends and even our own kids. May this family stay healthy and happy.

Watching this married couple makes me cry because they tried their best to be the best parent even when they said that they're worried won't be the best parent for their son 😢

There’s something about seeing two people who, after becoming parents, work hard in every way just so that their children can grow strong, healthy and happy. These two stepped up. And I hope they’ll always be happy, healthy and safe.

What gets to me is that they live in this tiny apartment with their son, and my husband and I do the same. I've always been worried about space and the idea of my son, or just us as a family being too cramped... but they seem to be getting along just fine with what they have. This is a reminder for me to be grateful for the roof over our heads. Our son probably doesn't care right now... he just wants to be loved.
@Lollic0pt3r3 жыл бұрын
I felt like they were so relatable. I’m not an ordinary mom; I’m quite awkward and always worried about raising my son. But the best love doesn’t have to come from a how-to-raise-your-child guide, it really comes from the heart!

I really want to see more of them. You can see that they each are very hardworking and always striving forward for their son's sake. They might not look like a conventional family physically but they are better parents than a lot of those that are considered "conventional". I'm rooting for them

Looks mean nothing, I know nurses and doctors covered in tattoos even dentists. If you never knew their profession and judged them. Imagine how foolish you would be if you had to be treated by them one day. People who judge based on looks are not good people. Everyone is different and until they wrong you personally, they deserve a chance to show who they truly are. Love this little family they come across real and expressive of their life.

Exactly. The most plain and "normal" people could just as easily screw you over or do heinous things. Actions speak louder than anything.
@TankTheSpank3 жыл бұрын
That’s how the west got transformed from “normal” to what we have today. BLM, Riots, and rights for even male-women. By supporting this you are indirectly supporting bad behavior. Sorry the west loves to shift accountability, but this is how this whole thing started. I love Japanese conservative views and it’s the last of “normal” society today.

@@Justjeroam spoken like a true democrat. Understand this, "what we have today in the west didn't happen out of no where". Understand how it came to this and you find your answers. Shifting accountability is not the answer. Just read your response to me, "I" has been mentioned a lot. narcissism is strong. Try to fix issues for once rather than making it about you.
