hi! so we have different reporting timings on diff days so for j1s this yr it’s like 8am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8.30am on Tuesday and 9am on Thursday!! timetables can vary depending on the subject combi that you take, for example if you take h2 math you might have a shorter break time than people who take h1 math due to the lesson timing etc. you can check out our school website at eunoiajc.moe.edu.sg on the various CCA timings under the Culture section! hope this helps and you can dm me on my ig if you have any more qns :) atb for o’s!

hi im a sec 2 student planning to go to your school so uh does school start at 9? i live in like tampines and it takes about at least an hour to reach. also im planning to dsa into symphonic band so if you are in band is it tiring?

Hi I would like to ask if you think JC was more relax than secondary school cuz it seem really fun and less stressful compared to my school and will time be a problem?

hi! for me, the workload in jc is definitely 10x more vigorous than secondary school and there is much more self-directed/independent learning as compared to secondary school. The subjects obviously cover heavier content, and building up your portfolio is important too, so definitely i would say it’s definitely not more relaxed than secondary school. that is not to say it isn’t fun, but the stress will definitely be there because of the academic rigour of the system itself. But jc is a lot about consistent work and as long as you put in that regular work you should be fine. Personally I find that time really passes by in jc a lot faster than secondary school cause it’s really just 2 short years and that’s it whereas you get double the time in secondary school as it’s more evenly paced. basically what I’m saying is it’ll be a fair share of fun and stress but it partly also depends on which jc you go to bc school culture can be very different across the diff jcs like for eg you can go to njc which is deemed as a “mugger sch” LOL. anyway i hope i answered your qns and if u have more u can always dm me on ig for faster replies! atb :))
