@@theannareich I currently do pest control/ Office management of sorts. I run scheduling and do the IT work. I have my associates in business that I got right out of high school but never could find anything I wanted to major in. Recently I started reading up on engineering and it has really peaked my interest

Hi Anna, I'm mechanical engineering student from Sri Lanka. Nice Vlog :-) Can you give me some advices for me. How should I do my university works and other things ?
@theannareich2 жыл бұрын
Hej! Thanks, I appreciate it :) Are there any specific things in university that you're struggling with that you would like advice on?
@AutoWheelsTV992 жыл бұрын
@@theannareich How to manage time with academics and other things ? We have huge work load in university. I'm struggling with time management.
@theannareich2 жыл бұрын
@@AutoWheelsTV99 I see time management as a journey on which you can slowly build some useful habits that help you stay organized and take some of the load off you. There’s really no way around getting the basics down - a calendar where ALL your lectures and appointments and deadlines go, a todo-list where ALL your open tasks go (plus in your calendar if they have a deadline). And then the next step is setting priorities on all your commitments - which classes do you really wanna do well in vs. which classes can you keep on the lighter studying side if stuff hits the fan? Plan time for your homework assignments and group work into your calendar to make sure that you know exactly when and where to work on them. Don’t skip sleep, meals & workouts because that will not make you more productive in the long run but the opposite. And don’t be too strict on yourself if you can’t manage everything from the start because that’s kind of the point of university - you will grow with your challenges :)

How to master solidworks, I am a third-year engineering student in South Africa?...by the way I like your vlogs...
@theannareich2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! There are tons of solidworks tutorials on KZbin you can follow. But I think the most important factor in learning a program is to have a purpose why you want to learn it. Maybe you can start a little engineering project for which you need to design some components in solidworks? That will be the best motivation :)

PLZ HELP, i am a mechanical engineer worked in civil as well as mechanical field, my wife is in uk. I am going to migrate to UK, so what to do to get a job as fast, can i step in to automobile industry or i have to take a course😊
@theannareich Жыл бұрын
I think it should be quite natural to move into the automotive sector as a mechanical engineer without any additional training since you should already know all the basics of how cars work and are manufactured. I would give it a shot and otherwise see what skills they think you're lacking & go back to acquire those if necessary
