I’m 9 weeks into my first semester. I have solid A’s and B’s and actually failed a patient care practical. Your videos help me a ton before I started and I will continue tuning in. Struggling right now to have balance as I find myself studying all day everyday. I feel like I need to because I just learn slower. Thank you again for your videos!

I'm in my first year of PT school and I've been having a hard time focusing lately because I am so tired all of the time. I watched this while studying for neuro today and it made me feel so better being able to relate to you. You're doing great things and thank you for this!

love this reminder that you don't need to always be studying and doing something all the time. I definitely feel the same way with my dance background. Keep it up girl!

Thanks for talking about the pressure to always be going 110%! I’m going to PT school in southern PA right now and I’m also in my second year so I’m feeling all the weight of everything we’ve learned so far. Good luck and keep it up!! 😊 I like watching your videos and being able to relate to what you’re learning with my classes.

Hi Kristen! I am in the same boat as you. I am almost through my first year of PT school and I completely agree with what you said. We had a professor tell us that a grade doesnt define you and I feel like that is so important to remember even though its hard to not do well on something. It is also important to realize when you do need a break because we arent super humans. I have some friends/classmates that feel the need to be on it all the time and I definitely have to step back at times because its hard for me. They want the A's (not that I dont cause I totally do! lol) and they want to be the best but I just know that isnt how its always going to be for me. Congrats on your clinical site acceptance!!! Good luck :)

hi! I’m also a PT student but I’m a third year out on clinical. I love how honest you are about the stress of PT school because it can be a doozy. I almost dropped out in second year because I was doing a horrible job managing the stress and taking time for myself and my body couldn’t take it anymore. During school I said “grades don’t matter” alll the time but it can be really hard to think that way and shift your mindset from a “I need an A.” I can say I just completed my first rotation and even after all that studying for anatomy I did back in class I still have to review it and some MSK stuff weekly when on clinical - you 100% aren’t expected to know everything at all times. Good luck in the rest of your classes and don’t forget to do something for yourself every day - schedule it in if you have to - it’s important!!
