Hey you guys! I'm very excited to be sharing this video, it is my first vlog style video since returning to KZbin. I have been asked about filming and sharing some of our family routines so I wanted to start off with a day in the life, homeschool video. If you are new to my channel we have 4 kids, ages 9 down to 2 and this is our 4th year homeschooling.

I have a 9 yr old, 5 yr old and 2 yr old and boy does the part where your baby girl wants the crayons look familiar!!!! It is a constant struggle to keep mine from taking to take their crayons, papers, books etc! And the many meltdowns! You handle that very well!!!!

Hi, Ms.Sandefur. I just subscribed to your channel. My reason is purely selfish, I must admit. My wife and I have the best of intentions when it comes to house cleaning. What equipment do use for the video learning from Abeka? Do you do online or dvd?

We do online streaming. You can use almost any device, for our 3 we use a laptop, our Ipad, and our Macbook. I've also used our large Mac desktop computer when needed.

Question...do you do all the videos? I'm trying to figure out how to "tame" abeka. That way it's not quite as long but yet they still get what they need. Also, do you use DVDs or streaming? Which do you recommend as I may be modifying the program( skipping test etc.)?

We do streaming and I really enjoy it. I don't have to worry about sending dvds back and forth or storing them for the school year. We aren't accredited, and when you aren't accredited you can do it anyway that you prefer. You would just want to consider the cost. You will be paying for everything so do you want to have a lot of "extra" materials on hand etc...I will cut down on the extra practice work or even the seatwork if my kiddos are doing well in that particular subject. It's definitely flexible, but not as much as other curriculums if you do the videos. Hope that helps! 💓
