Have you tried these fruit things for teething? They are like nets and you put frozen strawberries inside and the baby can chew but wont actually get the food and she cant choke! They're awesome!

It was refreshing to hear you talk about the nap struggle and needing to get things done. I’m in the same boat 😂😭

Completely normal. Typically developing babies usually want and prefer what parents eat. They also want flavor, savory foods. They learn that way. That's safe for them. The best way to lead-wean is to give them whatever you are eating after 6 months old, every time you eat around them. Except honey until 1 yr old. This is all you need to do + milk. My daughter is 100% exactly like yours in that aspect, feeding. She is turning one year old on the 9th of March.

Just a note about the baby food/picky eater thing... my baby was like yours, happy to eat all the things! I was sure she was going to avoid being a picky eater. As soon as she was about 3ish, though, she wouldn't eat anything. We've been teaching her how to eat new things for the last TWO years so, just a heads up! We're finally getting there, but it has taken some time lol

I LOVE MOPS!!! If you need other things to do, check out the Macaroni Kid site....most areas have a Macaroni kid rep who gathers info on all kid friendly things to do in the local area and sends it out as a weekly e-mail or newsletter. Also, check your local library for kid friendly activities. I love how you were singing the alphabet to her. One of the best things I did was buy my kiddos foam letters to play with in the bathtub...after teaching them 1 letter at a time (over a long period of time), I would eventually make a game out of it by calling out a letter and having them stick it to the wall of the tub....they all loved it and knew their letters very well at a young age just by playing that game! I started with capitals, then eventually moved to lower case, then even letter sounds, and they liked it better than other methods because it involved water ;o)

Hi Jess! Where did you get your living room Rug? Would you consider a review video of the taking cara babies program? Like how long she cried, etc.

Can you make a video with a breastfeeding update? I know you had tried many different things to keep your milk supply high and struggled with this. Has it gotten better? Did pumping make it better? I’m currently breastfeeding my two and half month old and I also want to continue to nurse for as long as I can! I’d love some tips!

Elliana is so good with sleeping! My 8 month old is a serial catnapper which means I can’t get anything done! She’s always up after half hour unless I lie with her the whole time then she will sleep longer. She also still wakes every 3 hours at night on a good night 😫

Also my baby is the same when it comes to reading now 😂😂😂 just wants to pull at the book or jump out of my arms!

My baby girl just turned 6 months old yesterday...it’s so much fun to watch your videos and see what my little one will be doing in a few months 😊 I do MOPS as well and I LOVE it!!!!! also, where did you find your sponge/brush holder in your kitchen sink? I love that!!
@JessicaElle4 жыл бұрын
Aww, so sweet!!! :) Gosh, I know, they change so much so quickly! Yes, MOPS is AMAZING!!! The sponge holder is from Lowe's! Although, I will say, I do wish it had 2 suction cups. Sometimes, if the sponge gets too heavy, it tips to the side a bit, but it has done us well.

Are you going to raise your daughter as a vegetarian ?

So thats a yes or no? Lol
@TheJessicaTalks4 жыл бұрын
Jessica Elle which q&as?! I’m vegetarian and my husband is a meat lover..so I’m not sure what to do!
It's not a cut and dry answer, but no we do not plan on raising her veg, but we will most likely limit the amount of meat, especially red meat. I am ok with giving her chicken, turkey, fish, etc, but I'm going to be picky with the kind I give her (grass fed, no added growth hormones, and such). She can choose if she wants to become veg once she's older/an adult. 👍
