This is probably one of the hardest non-thankless and underpaid jobs anyone could have. Dealing with peoples kids in our society now-a-days where parents think their children should be able to treat other adults like shit is mind boggling.

bigdaddymatty17, I share my bus with high schoolers and my bus driver says elementary kids are worst then is middle schoolers and high schoolers together. He says they yell, scream, and jump. Most high schoolers are just quiet and most middle schoolers talk to their friends or not talk at all (me) the group of middle schoolers a little behind the front are loud. (they sing, yell, and annoy people getting on) I am in the front too because when I came to the school I was new and came two months later then everyone else, so this one girl (along with my friend in the front) invited me to sit with her. I sat there ever since. (and Sorry for the long comment)

Ten years later and she is still driving. The bus she was driving was an older one even back in 2013 when the video was posted. All of the buses Sarasota uses now have a more modern body style with a sloped back windshield that have the wipers on the bottom. They also all have air conditioning now.

Sure different from I was a kid in 1964-1968: plastic and mist others on the above not on the Chevrolet and ford and then still Crown busses I rode. These all had metal materials clutches stuff stick shift non power steering which was manual sure quite different when I was young fifty years ago lol!

are bus don't have seat belts and you can walk down the walk way while its moving and you can set wherever you want and be loud and we never do drills at are school and in class we do nothing but sleep or read or be loud. And at lunch we have pizza and cake we don't have said or frute or vegetables 😀😀💝😍I love my school and bus

The buses which I ridden in my life are 1990’s Thomas International Vista, including a 97 47 pass 2002/06 Blue Bird All American RE 1999 Amtran Genesis 2000/2001 Amtran FE 1998 Thomas Vista ( don’t remember) 2003/4 IC FE 2005/6 IC FE 2007 Thomas EF 2006/2010 Thomas HDX (don’t remember) late elementary years 2005/06 IC FE Early 2000’s Amtran RE (temporary when other bus broke down (DT466 maybe) By now most of the district in Palm Beach County (my former location) has retired and scrapped one of the Amtrans one of the Last Thomas Vistas, The Blue Bird All-American REs and Thomas EFs and HDXs (Now currently has mostly Thomas C2s Blue Bird Visions and IC CEs (ADA) ADA buses were IC FE, Amtran FE (DT466) some of the 2010/2012 IC REs (Maxxforce DT) and Thomas EF (Cummins ISC or ISB)
