whaddup boys and girls how's it going! i was bored and had a little free time so i made a video about an average/not-so-average day in my life! def looks very fun compared to some other days but it be like that. some days are great and others are not so great. i happened to record a pretty darn great day.

I ran across your video and as a 1992 CS Major, it took me back! Glad to see people are still in Woodruff dorms (which is where I spent most of my days!) Go Jackets! Some things (such as Calculus) never change! Of course back in my day, we took 5 Calculus classes!

not at all! i would say on campus, i have never felt unsafe, even walking alone at night. if you walk off campus, it's also generally safe during the day but i'm a little more cautious at night (walking w friends, etc.)

Hey, I'm a conditional transfer for Tech next fall and I'm having some serious doubts about the classes and the size of the school, etc. Are the classes terribly difficult? Is the campus way too hard to navigate? Please be honest, I'm really nervous about this whole thing.

hi! i had those same doubts bc tech seemed way harder than my last university, especially for my major. i felt more prepared after transferring than if i had just come in to tech as a freshman, since i've already experienced adjusting to new environments and classes before. depends on what major, but from what i've seen, even the most difficult classes have the resources to help you. my advice is get to know people in the same major as you since that support is the most helpful

Hey, I’m attempting to transfer to GT through a pathway program. However, I have a bunch of question revolving around dorming. I was wondering what the best rooming configuration for a sophomore transfer would be, in your opinion? Do you think suites or apartments are worth it? What do you think about off campus apartments? What residence hall or suite/ apartment would you recommend for a transfer student in a similar position as you?

any tips for cs transfers and what to do if not all course reqs are met by app time?

biggest thing is checking the transfer catalog and making sure most (if not all) your credits/classes transfer. that was probably my biggest mistake - i found myself having to retake 2 classes because the classes i took at my old school didn't count towards my degree. unfortunately, i think course reqs are the first thing they look at in the application so you might be out of luck. but it doesn't hurt to apply the semester after! that way you can also get more classes out of the way before you transfer. good luck!
