Day In The Life Of A Solo Esthetician | Moving Out Of My Salon Suite 🖤⚡️

Going on a trip…. 🖤 Down the street and to the heart of my city! I’m so excited to share that I have found the perfect space for my ever growing business and I wanted to show you life the past few weeks.
I’ve been able to secure $15,000 in grants and scholarships and I plan to create an entire series on resources that I’m using and I will continue to document this for you so that it may be helpful.
I’m excited to move to my own building for so many reasons but I’ll never forget the safe space the salon suite has provided for me.

Hello sis, I have a question. I know you were in a salon Suite but usually in suites they have multiple esthetician was it challenging for you to get clients or it doesn’t matter as long as you do your marketing right? By the way congratulations on your new space 🎈🎊🍾🎉

Hey, thank you for this question. Yes I was in the salon suite no it wasn’t challenging for me to get clients because I did do a good job of putting myself out there and asking my clients for referrals and I leverage that to help me build my client base and I’m still very much building. I’m not quite where I wanna be, but I’m not where I was and I appreciate that as far as working in the salon suite I can’t vouch for every space I can just tell you how it worked at mine And in my space I didn’t have any issues with conflict of other people performing the same services. the clients that came to see me they came for me.

How’s traffic in this area? Or you not worried about traffic because you already have a steady clientele?

I’m not worried about traffic in this area because I have a decent clientele base and I also utilize other strategic marketing strategies. Also in person marketing I do a lot of community engagement and those are the things that help me build a steady stream of clients as far as traffic in this area as well it’s always better to be in a solo building. If you can afford that just because of the foot traffic around in my area compared to the suite that I was renting there was no traffic if you weren’t coming for an appointment you weren’t out there whereas in this area a lot of people can see my building from the street so it’s definitely sparking interest in the community. I’ve been able to host the vents in my building and do more community engagement which has helped me also build traffic, and also from the perspective of having access to Lake street signage, all of those things have been helpful for me so I don’t know if that would help you, but that’s my answer
