Have the best time in Scotland. One of the reasons I watch you is because of the realities of van life. We also have to put our bed down when we are able to get away. Mainly because we have a micro van and need to put my electric wheeler in the back but putting the bed down is a pain in the arse for my hubby. We don’t complain because we’re are grateful to get away. Love the helpful side of the channel but also love to see the adventures and the scenery. Great vid as always 🫶🏻

I've literally just had delivery of a boot jump today to turn my Peugeot Partner car into a microcamper, so these reality tips are great for me. All your talk about beds in vans - have you seen the amazing ones that are electric and automatically descend from the roof of the van at the press of a button, ready-made up with bedding! Amazing.

Hey Lottie, happy Sunday 🤙. Awesome I bet you must be buzzing to get it setup and out on an adventure. The bed you speak of is exactly what we’d put into a van if we convert one in the future. We’d have seats underneath and pop the bed away with a lot more ease. Seems like a game changer 😎

Love love LOVE this video!!! So true to life and we are still only part time travellers, not full time vanlifers! You guys tackle the boring/mundane with wit and humour - we have watched this and many. many times glanced over at each other and went "Yup!! That's SO true!" Brilliant, real life advice yet still with enough TristCam (what we call your amaze-balls drone footage matey!) to inspire! Many thanks and can't wait for the next instalment!;-)

Hi, another great video ta. Sole traveller with my dog on my first 3 week trip. Going up east coast across to Inverness and down west coast. Loving it.. considering full time van life and travel.. Will be following your Scotland tips.. currently in Kirkcaldy.. rain and wind.. on the beach.. awesome.. like your real take on van life..

Awesome thank you Trev. Sounds like you’re on an awesome trip. Scotland is the best isn’t it. We can’t wait to get exploring. Not going to lie we have missed the beautiful country. We were hoping the video would be a bit of fun and to show that not everyday is the perfect van life day. Sometimes we have normal things to do 🤣😂. Hope we can show you some of the cool things we find in Dumfries and Galloway. We’ve only zipped through the area on our first trip back in 2021. Hope you’re having an awesome Sunday 🤙😎

Come to Bowhouse market at St Monans in fife, 14th and 15th September. 10am to 4pm, music at 12 to 3pm. Food stalls craft stalls and food vans.

great vid ,if yer go for a bigger van will it be old school, tbh i think your van has it all ,and living space bed space ,bit of it ,keeps the van compact ,easier parking ,yer seem to pick out nature for travels which apart from narrow roads yer got the space, but i think yer picked the best sized van to do it all ,the larger vans can be restrictive take more planning ,cant blame yer scotland is the bees , most of it unhabitated so nature is always there ,enjoy your travels ,cheers sam

Thanks Sam appreciate the positive vibes 🤙. Gertie is such a great size and we can park pretty much anywhere with ease. She definitely comes with everything we need. Just could do with a fixed bed and a tad more space. But hey not complaining just what we’ve learnt from being in her. The windows are a god send when we are in nature. Draw back is cold days and heat escaping. You can’t have it all 🤣😂

Another great video I was clear from the start of our vanlife plans that a permanently made bed was essential and I'm glad I stuck to my guns lol. I was expecting some exclusive footage of friendly disagreements, we have lots, so are you saying it's possible to not argue 28 times a day? 🤣 Rosie (dog) would also sleep all day and Dave (cat) is wanting attention from 5am Our alarm goes off at 6! 😅 I am looking forward to vanlife in the winter, I'm sure it will be tough. So you're now heading to Scotland for the last of the summer days. Very nice. We will brave Scotland next year I'm just not sure I want to do it The Duke (our MH) 🫶🏼

Thank you, a fixed bed would be lovely. Not complaining but definitely on our list for our next van in the future. Funny how some dogs love to lay in. The weather is looking less favourable than down south of England. But hey we didn’t expect much more. Maybe a cheeky heatwave like last year would be nice 🤣😂. Have an awesome bank holiday Monday 🤙😎

We use an iPhone 15 Pro to film and CapCut to edit. Let me know if you’ve got any other questions 🤙

@NorthernAnt ah thank you 🙏. We use a Joby GorillaPod and pop the camera on the dash board. You can get them on Amazon. Should have our equipment listed in the description. I’ll add it to this weeks video.
