It may be too late but the best advice I ever got or example was seeing a mom dd 3,2,1. You see at some point they will want to know if mom will say 4. They have to be quite old before they understand negative numbers. My son has issues with transitions. Turns out. And he could count to 100 by 4.

Wow!! I am so so grateful my kids get free school meals! They’re still in primary school though so I don’t know if free school meals are a thing in secondary school?

I have no idea to be honest, perhaps they are for very low income families? I'm lucky that my boys prefer packed lunches anyway! Xx

I think you should prepare yourself for a change in your child once they reach secondary age..a lot more peer pressure regarding packed lunches..nothing seen as babyish can be for lunch..also most school lunches are more canteen like and way more expensive. Make the most of being in control while you can..in my experience it won't last long into secondary school..😂

Thank you for the pre-warning! It's definitely going to be an experience for us isn't it 🙈😂x

My 2 had one cooked lunch a week at primary school. When they got to secondary i told them i would put a set amount per month on their credit and when it ran out that was that! Luckily it didn't continue after novelty wore off and they continue happily with pack lunches, so expensive!!!

I'm hoping they'll want packed lunches still - more because I know they won't make any healthy choices of left to their own devices, and it's a struggle to get the good stuff in them as it is! 🙈xx

I wonder how much the packed lunches are roughly per child per day?

If u want something natural that works wonders on your skin get some calendula cream, you can apply it as many times as u need and as well as sorting out ur skin it's also a natural anti inflammatory ❤❤❤

In Alberta, Canada, we pay that for our kids to STAY at school during lunch. No food included…😂

House full of girls we have tubs of sudacrem everywhere we use them for spots etc ❤
@susanmcmurray36247 ай бұрын
Sudocream on spots is supposed to really be helpful. I had the same flare up of spots…. I’m 50 and never suffered before…. My daughter brought me spot patches…. Sorry but not the cheap pound ones she brought me some Korean ones and for they were the only thing that worked. I think super drug sells some Japanese skin care that may sell something similar. I’ve worked in high school kitchens…. My opinion packed lunches are much better, cost effective and school dinners in high school are not healthy and not great portions sizes!
@MumLifeAndMore7 ай бұрын
I've not heard of the spot patches before, I'll have to look them up - thanks. I'm hoping they'll still want packed lunches as they won't make the healthy choices if left to their own devices! 🙈xx

Aw claire your skin does look bad. Looks almost painful too. Have you been particularly stressed lately as that Lways triggers mine. I second the sudocrem comment .... amazing stuff !!! Xx❤

It has been a bit more stressful lately, that could be contributing to it. I've been using sudocrem, it is helping ☺️ xx
