Thanks for sharing. I’ll be starting my new job as Ophthalmic assistant next week and wanted to get some idea about the role since I’m starting with no experience. I’m nervous but I’m really excited for this new opportunity. I appreciate you sharing this💕

Hi I am ophthalmic assistant in nepal does this profession recognized in Germany or were should I tried it to get job as a ophthalmic assistant

@@rojinasharma4872 hey. I’m not sure if they have this in Germany but I would assume so since this is how most offices are set up to increase patient load. Just do some searches when you get there to see if they are hiring for a technician.

After 25 years of being a teacher I am switching careers. On Monday I start my training to become a technician with an eye surgeon. Your video was so, so nice to watch. Thank you for making this.

Hi. A very cool and detailed description of your work. Thank you. I have a couple of questions. What state do you live in? What college did you go to and for how long? What kind of diploma or certificate is needed? I really appreciate it.

Hello I live in GA, I didn’t need a formal degree for this position. I was trained on the job.

Thx. What brand of scrubs are you wearing. Do they stretch ? Do they fade easily ?
@VeeRay27 Жыл бұрын
The scrubs I’m wearing are from Walmart. I forget the beans but they are very stretchy and they haven’t faded yet.

I'm just starting out as an eye technician. I love eye care, but...the doctor I work is very overly critical of all the technician. He likes to nitpick at every little thing, even down to forgetting a period in our HPI. After a long busy day, we all were tired, and felt we did a good job, but he still complained about a little mistake someone made. I get soo stressed worrying about making mistakes my chest kills me at time...

Awww I’m so sorry to hear that. And this field is greatly impacted by the doctor you work with. Just make sure you take sometime to double check yourself before leaving the room with the patient.

@@VeeRay27 thanks for your advice! Unfortunately, even that doesn't help. He'll always find something. And if we go slow we'll get in trouble for that too.
