My grandma is in her mid-80s and still in great shape. She used to be a farmer but lives in a condo now. I will always treasure the time we spent as kids at her farm. I periodically write letters to her and she writes back. Grannies are one of the many blessings God gives us.

Just like our farm, years and years of STUFF. When a FARMER you never throw things away as something can be used for something else again. Love seeing Granny so agile. That gal is really agile. LOVE seeing her just doing. You can tell she hasn't lost sight of the little girl who used to know all the spots so very well. Delightful to see all her JOY and sharing.

My rancher cousin was offered “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter” instead of real butter while having dinner at my folks. He picked up the container with an offended look and stated, “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter?? I can’t believe it ain’t axel grease.” Glad to say my mom quit buying axel grease and went back to real butter. 😀

I miss living on a farm. My dad was a mennonite and we had a farm and farm animals. I am a Mennonite. My wish is to be back on a farm growing my own food and raising farm animals. I am hoping that year that we moved back to our home state of New York. Where we can have a farm and farm animals. I am the only mennonite in the state of Arizona and my husband is Amish and the only Amish living in the state of Arizona. Here in Arizona there are no farms and farm animals at all.

When I was 19 my husband and I rent a house trailer from a naked farmer. We lived on his property, shared a driveway. He was a nudest. He knew it made me uncomfortable so he would keep a towel by his front door to wrap around himself when he came outside. He was at least in his 70s. Nice man, but a bit eccentric

Young man: you are like me, annoying many of my loved ones about the microwave in PLASTIC and fake butter .. now I know why they don't talk to me anymore. Granny is so patient. Young man.. buy her some quality Kellygold butter so she can compare how good real butter is. Also, you need to speak louder and enunciate when talking with Granny as you mumble a lot. Lastly, when taking her on a speedrun to unfamiliar areas with uneven ground maybe realize she is trying to avoid tripping and falling which might be why she clears away sticks at home because she is trying to avoid a fall?
